Needed to replace our GE microwave. Since we have limited counter space, size of the microwave was an issue. I wanted an 1100 watt oven and this one was small enough to fit the area I needed. Most other 1100 watt ones were too big. Seems to work fine so far. We use it for reheating and cooking small frozen entrees.

I read a lot of reviews and this microwave had all the features I was looking for, but the best feature was the easy clean interior with rounded corners, no powder coating. It caught my eye because the one we had always caught tiny pieces of food and was hard to get them out the seams inside. Also, for whatever reason, I went to clean it one day and the paint started flaking off the inside top, the powder coating had bubbled up and came off on the sponge. It works great, cooks fast, the auto defrost is nice. Only problem is it's loud when you open or close it, so if you're trying to sneak and eat something you're not supposed to, someone will hear you.

Serves my purpose. Plusses include curved corners for easy clean up and, an EZ On button that heats an item for 30 seconds in one tap. Tapping same button adds more time if needed. Also like the gray interior after always having a microwave with white interior. One downside is that the numbers and letters on keypad are too light to read under my kitchen lighting so I keep a small flashlight next to microwave - issue resolved.

This is a powerful, good looking microwave. The only down side is that the letters and numbers on the control panel are a little small and are difficult to read in lower light conditions.

Good looking, with nice choice of features, including soften, defrost, quick select and +- buttons. Easy to use. However, if you have poor close vision, you may find it hard to read the white words and symbols against the black background. (We solved this by installing a small LED light nearby.)

This microwave cooks far more efficiently that our Gallant brand we used to have. That one lasted about 3-4 years, but the LG is much better. There are so many features that I haven't even used yet. But I love the auto defrost. Pop in a frozen breakfast sandwich and it's good to eat without you even thinking much about it. My only issue is the touch pad is not lit. It's hard to see the words on the buttons if you're kitchen is dark.

The only thing I did not like about this product is the control panel. The letters are small and dark. You need good lighting to read the display. Wish they would add some lighting.

This microwave works great and looks great. The only thing that wasn't the best was trying to peel off the shipping plastic from the case. That was a pain, but I appreciate that it was put on at the factory to protect the case during shipping and setup. I definitely recommend this microwave.

I love this microwave! Even though it is a counter top, it works great! It is easy to use, you don't have to press a hundred buttons to get it to work. It is large inside so you can put a good amount of dishes/food in it at one time. I would recommend to anyone!!!

Good unit for replacing a unit that was 30 years old. Light enough in weight and easy to learn. The only complaint is how small the pad is making it slightly difficult to accurately assess some of the function buttons and many times I have to cancel because of this.

My wife and I love it! Smaller lighter and more powerful than our old one! Love all the built in feature like all the programmed buttons for different foods and popcorn. We really like the curved interior ease of cleaning!!

I replaced a Panasonic 1.2 cu ft microwave with this LG 1.5 cu ft. The LG opens much easier, feels like it's better quality - plus the Panasonic has no light when opening the door.

We have a family of 5. We removed the microwave above the range and built a custom hood vent. We had to find a microwave to go on the counter top. When comparing the 1.5 cu ft. vs. 2.0 cu ft. we didn't see much benefit to going bigger. The larger one took up quite a bit more space but didn't provide any extra benefit that we could tell. We don't do much with the microwave aside from heating up leftovers. I suppose if you heat up a lot of bigger things you'd need something bigger but this size does great for us. It heats very evenly, and quick. The defrost option seems to be really good. I've had some microwaves that almost cook the meat when defrosting. This one does not. The function buttons are pretty typical with one exception. There are two options to add or subtract 10 seconds at a time from the cook time. We use that all the time. Overall, for the price, we like this one.

The microwave is working just fine. The major criticism is the numbers on the panel are small and difficult to read, especially for those who do not have quite as good sight, like the elderly. Making the numbers larger and brighter would be very helpful. Another recommendation would be to make opening and closing the door quieter. I would recommend if a person had good eyesight or the microwave were placed at eye level.

Was looking for a mid-sized countertop with good selection of "smart buttons"! After couple hours of research I selected the LG. Very happy with selection .. Good quality & plenty of power for all needs! Highly reccomend

we like the performance and the look. but it's difficult to see the panel because the numbers and buttons are hard to see. other than that it works fine.

Perfect size for even large casserole dishes. Display is hard to read. It is quite noisy compared to my old Sharp.

We purchased this microwave when we bought our new home. We wanted to match with the LG appliances we also purchased at Best Buy. This microwave has a great look and fits into our space well. It is very powerful and is super easy to clean. This is a great product!

The LG LCRT1513ST microwave had the ceramic curved interior that I was searching for and it was on sale. Good product with lots of power. Also purchased the 4-Year warranty. Have found warranties generally pay. Will buy again when this one fails.
