First oven didn't work, had to be replaced.
Replaced oven turn table runs in jerks, spills liquids. No timer. Door sounds clunky when opened or closed.

Just 1000 watts

For about 10 years we had a Sharp microwave sitting on the counter. The kitchen was being remodeled and we decided on an over the Range Microwave. The problem here mostly falls to me. The $100 Sharp microwave had 1200 watts. It just never crossed my mind that a Microwave 10 years newer and costing twice as much would not have at least as much power. I didn't even think to check. So we need to cook everything just a little longer than we have for the past 10 years. It gets done but I would not have thought I'd need to adjust. But looking at the other models they mostly seem to be 1000 watts.
Per another review the rack is useless. Very few things fit underneath it and it makes getting things in and out a little more difficult. Just removed it.

Good Value for Stainless Steel

Purchased to match our LG appliances, got it on sale and was the lowest cost stainless steel microwave that matched. Installed easily...My cabinets are older so needed some prework prior to installation. Mounting templates worked great, paper was a bit thin though. Install instructions clear and hardware worked great. Does not come with vent transition...local hardware store should have it.
Good basic feature set. Doesn't have all those extra buttons for modes that are never used.
Micro takes a bit longer to heat than our older counter micro, but that was a higher wattage. Does not have sensor for heating, but I never trusted sensor micros as they tend to over cook. Door latch feels a bit flimsy. We'll see how long it lasts. Fan is a bit loud but still quieter than our old range hood. Also, fan has only 2 speeds (high and low). Wish light was a little brighter. Filters take some care to install with out bending them. The metal rack is kinda useless...when installed you only get about 4-5" of clearance. I can't fit a typical coffee mug.
It works great so far after a month of light use.

The only instant on button is the ADD 30 Seconds. I would have liked a microwave oven that has I to 6 minute instant on feature.

Great price with great reviews. As soon as it was installed, it worked for one week. We had to wait a week and a half for a repairman to come out and it requires new parts. Have to wait another 2 weeks for a repairman to come out. Brand new appliance should not require new parts.

We needed a new Microwave we went shopping checked out a number of stores. We left a few of them because of no one in the department and no one around to answer questions about the product.

I've only had it a few days, so I can't comment on the longevity. It fit exactly in the space where my old one had been. The look is very nice and clean, makes the kitchen look really nice. It heats food evenly and very well. The fan works really well. The magnetron has a 10 year warranty. I really don't care that it doesn't have a timer, which seems to be a common complaint; I never used a timer to start a MW cooking; I don't see the big deal. The installation was really easy, the templates were easy to line up and use; my wife and I got it installed perfectly in just about 30 minutes or so. The rack means we can heat up 2 plates of food at once. So far, we really like it a lot. If I had it longer, I'd probably give it 5 stars.

specs are incorrect. loud

Truly disappointed that this unit does not have a kitchen timer as indicated on the specs. There is a button labeled "TIME" and also one labeled "CLOCK", why in the world do you need a "TIME" button when you can just enter the amount of cooking time that you desire and press start? Very misleading. Also, packaging was intact and looked perfect until after the unit was installed and I seen the dent on the top panel. Dent in the stainless steel is completely noticeable in the light. Unit was not placed on its front during installation at all so I have to assume it was packaged this way. Also, it seem so much louder than my old one. From the reviews, it sounds like I'll only have to deal with it for a little over a year...we'll see.

the buzzer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I really like this oven and I have not had a single problem with the handle getting hot or melting. Not too efficient with even cooking with the rack but I only tried once for bacon. But... the buzzer for when food is done is the universal sound for a distress alarm. Three long beeps.
And the beeper will continue the three long beeps every fifteen seconds until you stop it. I even thought about returning it because of that very reason but was too lazy. So, the performance and all mechanical is great with this overall but you know it's annoying when you get so aggravated that you time the beeps. Yep, I did.
Beeps are each 3seconds, then quiet for 15 seconds, then back to the three long beeps so if you're in the middle of something in the other that you can't drop you're forced to listen to this thing until you stop it.

Great price for an above average microwave. Works very well. Although sometimes I think some of the reheat features over heat. The light underneath is so faint it is almost non existent and not useful. So if you appreciate a bright light over your stove top you will not like this. The filters underneath are flimsy and fall out easy. It may not offer enough cooking room for many people. But for my husband and myself it suits our cooking needs. It is attractive in appearance and easy to keep clean.

Stainless Steel on a beer budget....This is an example of a bottom end name brand stainless steel microwave, so you should expect the negative things that I am mentioning for the money.
It's a bit loud as well as a bit small, and you have to take the metal rack out every time you want to put a bowl in it (we just left it out).
We found this unit to be better looking than the other brands at similar prices.

This microwave is quick and easy to use. It fit right over the new stove I bought earlier at Best Buy. Took no time to learn the nuances by heart! It's cooks and defrosts everything easier and faster than my old one. Should have bought this long ago!

Basic microwave. Serves it purpose. If you require a light on it that shines down on the stove DON'T BUY this model. It has one setting and off. Only takes a 30 watt bulb which is only good for a nightlight, not cooking.

I needed a new one and I just went and got what was on sale at the cheapest price then and one that would fit (1.6 cu ft). Had read good reviews but now I see a Samsung even more price reduced and the same size. But...! It works very well, and completes my basic needs of frozen dinners, reheating cooked food, tea etc. I don't use or for cooking so cannot go there.
But one thing really ticked me. I payed 120 dollars for installation (prepaid when I bought the oven with my BB card) but the installer, Dale Itzenheiser charged me 20 dollars more for attaching the electrical component at the back: the one that comes out from the wall where the older range hood was attached to. I thought installation included attaching that. So I paid 140 dollars for installing when the oven cost 197.99. I will have to complain about this to Best Buy CS. I am not mentioning the name of the company that did it. This is the worst part of this purchase. Otherwise I really like it.
