Blower motor difficult to change for wall exhaust installation. The directions gave no help other than to "reassemble the fan". Fan is always on while cooking with no way to override. Even the cheapest microwaves have a timer. This one does. This one is going back to the store.

It took over 3 weeks to get LMV1683ST Serial Number: 610tayvax866 mostly repaired. Control Board replaced, but Defrost does not work right. I am not happy with LG's warranty support - takes too long and quality control of replacement parts is poor.

I bought this microwave thinking LG made decent products. I was wrong. After only a few months of use, the vent fan would turn on at random times, often even without being used. LG was unwilling to fix the problem.

This microwave is not worth the money. It lasted 3 months past the warranty. Will not heat and we didn't even use it much. Do not buy.

This is a terrible product and brand. We have had the microwave less than two years and it is now worthless. The turntable will not turn and the unit will not heat things up. Called LG and they refused to give any help or assistants.

Bought this to replace my 14 year old sharp. Installed easy looked great went to use the soften feature completely melted a stick of butter what a mess. Energy saver did not work. Tried a few times still didn't work called LG after 55 minutes on the phone they decided something was wrong and would send out service. Tech came out claimed it needed a new board. Received new board 2 weeks later didn't change a thing after service tech's discussion with LG tech they think LG is not programming board correctly, claimed most people don't use these features anyway, they would have to consult with engineers. Called LG customer service to no avail after talking to supervisor claimed they are only responsible for repairing the unit no matter how long it takes. They will not replace told me to call the retailer. Called bestbuy they told me to return it and reselect ( thank you Bestbuy) I would never buy LG again customer service is the worst ever.

The microwave does all the microwavey things. It's really too small for anything but plates when you have the rack in though. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker.

I took me a Bit to install but its worth it for the price

We chose an LG microwave to match our other LG appliances. Unfortunately as much as we like our other LG's, this one is just not as good.

I should have read the eviews more closely. I bought his microwave and it gave e problems from the getgo. Called in warranty and they found nothing wrong even though it was constantly failing to heat. Now it makes too much noise, does not heat, and it fills the house with burnt smells. Do not buy!

When first brought home found it didn't have all the features advertised, then 13 months later magnitron goes out , it will take at least a week to get technician out and I will still be expected to cover service call, misc. everything but the part. Very unhappyM

Lasted 13 months, no longer heats but will still turn on

We purchased our LG microwave in 2012 - a switch went out in May of 2014 and we paid the same price as the new Microwave for the repair. Now the same switch has gone out 6 months later (e.g. the Microwave is unusable) and their repair was warrantied for only 3 months - all of our appliances are Stainless LG but we will never buy their products again - buyer beware!

It worked great until it didn't. Lasted only 6 months then died.

This was the same as my old microwave, just the stainless steel was a nicer color.

Our LG Micro LMV1680ST fit the space and looks great. The main part (Megatron$) went out in 2 years time. A very short life. The part is still under warrantee but the service call with free part and labor + trip charge will cost as much as a new unit... not happy with that...

Bought this microwave Dec 15, 2015 and it completely died 8/3/2016. Controller assembly /keypad was replaced on 8/12/2016 and it died again on 8/22/2016. Though it's still under warranty LG will not replace w/ new microwave as they said the repairman must make that call. This is 3rd repair person coming out tomorrow to look at appliance and decide next steps. Have had to take off several times from work to fix issue that will never get resolved. I also purchased an LG fridge and stove to match appliances but I will never purchase another LG product again. Customer service is horrid.

may other product is ok from lg. But this microwave oven failed to pass my primary test. it was not working. when i started up it always says doors. Thats technical problem. my advice before set up please test it.
