I’ve had this microwave for a month or so now. The microwave heats great, no issues there. We like the easy preset buttons. I’ve used the air fryer function and it works but I wasn’t able to obtain the crisping that I get from my counter top air fryer. The “print proof” claim is a joke, it shows every finger print, smudge, etc. The door extends the length of the microwave so you’ll need full space to open it.

I LOVE this microwave and I’m glad I didn’t skip on the air fryer option. Food heats quickly and evenly. The unit was considerably heavier than my last, so installation was a two-person job - Simple nonetheless! No regrets with this purchase!

I have been looking to consolidate the microwave with my air fryer and I found it ! Beautiful design, and great build . I know it’s not cheap but it is worth every penny!!

So far it’s a nice all in one microwave. Still getting use to the functions, with so many options. Haven’t tried many of the features. The air fryer works good, but it’s limited on the number system, you have to play around with the feature for foods to cook right. The convection oven works good so far.

Works very well, I am also very pleased with the fact that you can set the light to come on at a certain hours a night and turn it off automatically at a certain hour.

Excellent customer service, excellent installation, fantastic microwave/convection oven/air fryer, it just doesn’t get any better than this superior product supported by superior customer service.

I recently purchased the MHEC1737F and, unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed given the hefty price tag. While the automated defrost option works well and is convenient, the overall performance of the microwave leaves much to be desired.
One of my main issues is that the microwave seems less powerful than other models I've used in the past. Cooking times are longer than expected, which is frustrating. My biggest complaint, however, is the air fryer feature. I tried cooking several slices of bacon, and it took over 20 minutes to finish. In comparison, a stovetop air fryer would have done the same job in less than 10 minutes, which I find unacceptable for a device marketed with such capabilities.
I haven't yet tried the convection baking feature, but based on my experience so far, I am not optimistic. Overall, I regret my purchase and would not recommend this model to others looking for a reliable microwave with effective air frying abilities.
Hi, Joanne. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG Microwave (MHEC1737F) model. We understand your concern, especially with the performance of the air fryer feature and cooking times not meeting your expectations. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
For the longer cooking times, we recommend checking that the microwave is set to the correct power level for the task at hand. Sometimes, adjusting the power setting can improve cooking efficiency. If you haven't already, consider using the convection bake feature as a complement to air frying for better results with certain foods like bacon.
If it continues to be an issue, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you further, whether it’s troubleshooting or exploring your options.
We appreciate your feedback and are here to help ensure your satisfaction. ^Juvy

Replaced a countertop microwave (only) and a large 10 in 1 Air fryer. Counterspace is at a premium and placing this unit above the stove has created a much more cleaner look to the kitchen while keeping the used functions of both

We had to replace our 18 year old GE microwave and decided to take advantage of improvements in the technology of 2025. This LG does everything except clean itself. We would recommend this model without hesitation.

Excellent unit that incorporates air fry, convection, and microwave. We selected the black stainless and had an extra wait time. Believe me the wait was worth it. This thing can cook what ever you want.
I would recommend this to a friend

I had to check out just about every feature day one - so we had fishsticks (airfryer) with a baked potato (hybrid - very cool feature!) with steamed broccoli (1 button and they provided the steamer!). Doesn't seem to be quite as hot as my last little oven, so haven't been able to get things to brown as well - yet. That can come with practice. So far, LOVE it!

So far we've done regular microwaving and convection. I love how easy and quick it is to cook chicken nuggets and pizza rolls now. It heats up much quicker than the regular oven. As others have pointed out, the Air Fry mode is disappointing because you can't set the time for them. You get 9 choices only I believe. I took one star of Cook Settings for that.

This is a great microwave love all the functions like the air fryer Reheat function convection cooking and lots more The one issue the key pad is difficult to see They should have the letters and numbers light up so could be easily seen otherwise a great product so far

I LOVE how this thing looks, very modern and sleek. Buttons are a little iffy to push, but they are not bad or anything. Inside is metal, easy to clean which goes a long way.
The ThinQ app works quite well, and is very easy to connect the appliances to it, but for the microwave having notifications on is pretty silly. It will be great when you want it on, but otherwise should probably be off by default, unless you like getting a notification everytime the micro dings.
