This thing went out in less than a year had to wait forever to get it replaced

did not last, wouldn't recommend. cheap quality material

We purchased this microwave about a month ago to replace a 12 year old GE. The price was right, and it had all the options we were looking for (stainless look, rack on the inside, 30 sec button, popcorn button for the kids...) It doesn't have a timer, but we knew that ahead of purchasing, and our range has a timer, so no biggie for us. As other reviews have mentioned, the supplied incandescent bulb for the rangetop light is disappointingly dim. I purchased a replacement 2 watt led bulb and it is much brighter. This unit is quieter than our old GE, and performs well. The installers from Best Buy were very efficient. We are very satisfied.

Bought this microwave to replace our counter microwave. It works well and we haven't had an issues with it. My only complaint is the cooktop light is too dim, it's too dim to bother using it, (its only a 30 watt bulb). We went to Lowe's and replaced that bulb with a 40 watt bulb which is better. Other than the light issue, it's a good product.

This was a pretty good microwave. It lasted 6 years and was used almost everyday.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. The unit has a built in top vent that operates any time the microwave is in use. The vent blows so loud and it is very annoying. My dog actually will run out of the room when it turns on because the vent is so loud it scares him. I have read some newer over the range units will automatically turn the vent on when the unit gets hot (oven or stove top below operating creating heat)...this one is not like that. This one runs the vent on FULL blast EVERY time you use the microwave. I would not make this purchase again and would return it if I still had the box.

For starters, it seems to be good enough for what I needed, I'd probably would give it 5 stars, but the fact that the first thing that you will see at the time you open the box is a piece of paper telling you that by buying/using the microwave you have entered into an arbitration agreement is not a good thing, if it was written on the box or specs I would not have bought it. A forced arbitration is never a good thing.

This microwave only lasted us a few years, then it quit working. When it was new and working it was very dependable, only con is I have to buy another one only 2.5 years later.

Generally pleased except I'm comparing it to a previous microwave ( different brand) which had other features I liked, but this LG is missing. Example: auto cook buttons preset for different minutes, 1 minute , 2 minutes, etc. Also, unable to add time to the 30 second button.

Bought it at the end of December 2018, only a little over a month and making a terrible noise!! Can someone tell me what’s wrong with it, please. I wish I can return it!!!

After 14 months the handle comes loose at the bottom. They won't repair, Can't open door unless you hold handle at the very top. Have to buy a new one and it WON'T be a LG!

Bought in Sept of 2017, stopped heating food in March 2019 - 18 months of usage. Thanks for the great value LG - not.

Handle broke, thankful for geek squad protection I get a new one.
