    Installed microwave. Was extremely excited looks great in its new home. Heated up couple slices of pizza, done great. My son then made a ramen and it died in middle of cooking. Like no power to the microwave. Its dead no instrument panel or anything. Unplugged the microwave, and waited. I plugged it back in still dead. Was on the couch and i heard it chime and power back up. So i reset the time and my son made a ramen and worked. Cooked the ramen, but after another bowl it did it again. No power.! Im gonna be taking it in to exchange it... Hope the one i get works

    Vent fan runs everytime microwave in use.

    Vent fan comes on automatically everytime I use microwave. Old microwave never did this neither does anyone else I know. I spoke to two LG customer support reps on the phone and one LG chat session. None said this was normal. repair ticket was made. Tech came out and said needed new control board and will order. Got call 2 days later from tech. LG says this is normal for this unit. Why didn't any one know? Why isn't this mentioned in owners manual? POOR customer report. POOR advertising. I would have never bought if I knew. Loud fan every time microwave used... NO THANK YOU!!!

    The microwave is great, install was great, just don’t buy from best buy. The worst customer service ever. Too long of story to go into, basically buy the microwave, just not at Best Buy

    Door glass shattered when I closed the door after 5 months of use. LG won't replace due to physical damage and Best buy protection agreement doesn't cover the glass breaking

    Looks pretty but have been having the same issue others are reporting with the light. Mine went out about two and a half months in. It started dimming and then finally went out. My experience with LG support has been lacking. I have been waiting for three weeks to hear back on a "technician" to call me. I have contacted LG four times but still habven't heard back from the technician. If I could return it I would. This is our second LG and final microwave. We bought a second LG because all of the appliances in our home are LG.

    The install guy would not install the microwave due to some electrical issue, so not able to use the microwave still until an electrician comes out. Need my money back on the install

    What a Waste of Money LG and Best Buy

    I wouldn't buy this microwave again. I wouldn't buy this from Best Buy. I had it installed by Best Buy and they left without it working. It ended up I should have looked further into my outlet and kept my old microwave. Instead this breaks about a day after the return period is over. Best Buy even with support won't help. LG won't help as they use Unique Service Repair. And they keep rescheduling and say their system is down.

    Do not buy this brand (LG) Best Buy does not repair this brand. I have spent all morning trying to get someone to repair because it over heats and shuts down. You have to go to LG who tells you to schedule with Mr Appliance that could not help without a authorization letter from LG, after 3 hours I still have not resolved. Just bought this a few months ago

    The auto reheat & cook buttons are weird to figure out & have too many extra steps. Fan is too loud, print on buttons is too small (who needs so many buttons)

    purchased LG microwave 7-22-24 plus 5 year extended warranty. it worked less than 30 days. called best buy and they passed the buck to LG. I am still waiting for a service date from LG after 5 days even though I have a reference number

    Works Great, But Light Burned Out Early

    The microwave itself is excellent - powerful, quiet, and very user‑friendly. It looks great above the stove, and the vent fan and cooking functions work exactly as advertised. However, the interior light burned out much sooner than I expected (before the one‑year mark). It’s a small issue but still inconvenient, especially on an appliance that otherwise feels high‑quality. Even with that flaw, I genuinely enjoy using this microwave and think it’s a strong product. Hopefully future versions come with a longer‑lasting interior light.

    I’m extremely happy with this LG 1.7 cu. ft. over-the-range microwave! The stainless-steel design looks modern and clean, and it instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. It heats food quickly and evenly, and the Sensor Cook feature is a game changer. It automatically adjusts the time so nothing ends up overcooked or undercooked. One of my favorite parts is the EasyClean interior. Spills wipe up easily without scrubbing, which is perfect for busy days. The touch controls are simple and responsive, and the display is bright and easy to read. It’s also surprisingly quiet, even when running on higher settings. The ventilation works great, the lighting underneath is bright, and installation was straightforward. For the price, the quality and performance are outstanding.
