We have owned this microwave for a week now and have enjoyed using it. Great color and very easy to use. Easy to install and looks great in our kitchen.

So far, so good. We are remodeling our kitchen and are going all LG on appliances. The gas range has let me down a little.. I’m hoping for better luck with this microwave. My husband had a hard time installing, and the grid they give you is made of a very flimsy, easily ripped paper.. other than that.. performs good so far.

Easy to use and especially easy to clean interior. Works Great and looks even better with the rest of the matching appliances!

The beeper is extremely loud when something is ready and when the timer goes off. It would be great if it had a volume adjustment. The opening and closing of door is loud and banging as well. It is smaller inside than my previous microwave.

Works well. Install was not as easy as I had hoped because mounting brackets are not standard. But once in the unit performs well.

Function and cooks well. Easy to use and easy to clean. Makes almost no noise and very energy efficient.

1) Exhaust vents are effectively non-functioning. Steam from oven below rolls over the front and condensation drips off into my food preparation. 2) The numbers on the clock malfunction and spin constantly, making it impossible to tell how much time remains on a cook/timer function. Both of these issues were present on my original purchase *and* on the warranty replacement. The oven does heat food well.

Love this LG over-the-range microwave! I purchased it to match my LG refrigerator. Lots of room inside and it looks really good.

Purchase this microwave to replace my old microwave. Installation process was easy. Love that it’s easy to clean, easy to use.

My old microwave was installed when we built our house. After a year the door handle broke a year later the face of door came off. It finally began to smoke. One thing that was important to me was quality. The LG seems to fit that bill. It was installed in 10 min. and so far heats great, looks great(no used to having door panel) and is made well. I am a big fan of LG and Samsung but still I do research so I hope this helps.

Simple to use microwave. The only issue is that the bottom light Is not bright enough to light up the stove below. I only see one light bulb underneath so it appears to be more of an ambient light instead of lighting up the food that you are preparing.

The Microwave matches our LG Range perfectly . However, it is louder than our old samsung

The LG 1.8 is easy to use and fits the space I had my prior microwave.

Overall it's a fairly decent microwave. My only issue is the buttons stick. You literally have to push down hard to start the thing. The light is also very dim. I think this is an easy fix with a different bulb. Ok, not the greatest above range.

Works well, looks great and good size ! Great size for smaller space as compared to others where an inch or two makes a difference!

We love our over the range microwave. It frees up countertop space. Its beautiful. I deducted one start because in a few months use, you can already see the imprints that do not go away on the numbers used most often. I clean my appliances with a Norwex cloth.

This over looks great, and works great. This new print proof stainless steel model has whitish blue LED lighting that matches my new LG range. The older models have a green LED, which does not match stove (if that bothers you). Heats quickly, very nice looking as well.

The microwave is good quality and it’s working find as off now. The only thin I don’t like is every-time is turn on a it produced weird electric click sound is. I don’t what is but I put warranty. I may call manufacturer to ask about it. The price is fair. Could be 40 dollars less.

We bought all new SS LG kitchen appliances so they would match. After the installation, I notice that the microwave clock numbers are green and the stove (which is right below it) clock numbers are white. Who's brilliant idea was that? It would look much better if they matched. I did not see this in the store, because they did not have this model in stock. Another annoying feature is when you are a few feet away and you move about 5 or 10 degrees to the right you cannot see the last digit on the clock. Buttons seem hard to push even though they are suppose to be soft touch. I have not found an instant on 1 push start button yet, but in the spirit of fair reporting, I have not read the whole manual. My old 1 was set so if you pushed #1 it would go on for 1 minute. The clock issue may sound minor, but when I look into the kitchen at all new appliances it looks like I mixed brands. Best Buy had great sales and installation.
