Although the interior size is just as large, the exterior box is smaller than many units. This allows it to fit better over the stove. This was a problem solved for me

It quit working within in 2 weeks. We had the Best Buy protection plan, Best Buy replaced it free of charge in 3 days. The quality is ok, but doesn't have all the options like a higher end microwave does. Won't purchase another LG microwave when this one quits.

Great sensor

The new LG sensor works just right. It is also quiet and was easy to install.

This was supposed to be the replacement model. Way too loud and does not heat nearly as well as the former one. Pretty disappointed and would replace it if it wasn't already installed. I'm sure this one will break in a few years too so I'll replace it then. UGH!
