This microwave in black stainless is beautiful and perfectly matches my LG range. It has plenty of cooking space and lots of cooking features. My only reason for only four stars is the buttons are really hard to push. I don’t understand why you can just barely touch them, but that doesn’t work. You really have to push hard to set the cook time.

Absolutely love the melt and soften buttons use them all the time for ice cream and cheese. The reheat sensor is a little too powerful or I haven’t gotten used to it, I usually stop it once it show seconds counting down. At that point the food is piping hot. Other than that it looks fantastic above the stove and the light isn’t too soft like others complain. You can always replace the range light with a brighter led one.

I love my new LG appliances. They are so pretty! they work great, after reading some directions for assistance. Only negative is the keypad is so dark I have to turn on lights to see the buttons. I wish they would like up.

I purchased this as an open box unit, overall this microwave is working pretty well, doesn't seems like this has too many fancy feature, great deal for the value.

We bought this unit to replace an over-the-range that was 16 years old. Needed decent sized interior, easy to clean, lots of cooking power, and working ventilation through the top. Got all that with this unit. It's sleek, works great, powerful. Enjoying it so far. 2 things keep it from getting 5 stars: The under-hood light is like a baby room night light, VERY dim. My old one had two nice, bright lights in it so it was useful when cooking. I remedied this by ordering a much brighter bulb from Amazon that came in pairs for $9. Easy fix, now much brighter. Second, the buttons on the keypad are VERY hard to push. No way will you accidentally ever turn this unit on, you have to LEAN IN and push hard to make anything happen. Not a deal-breaker, but annoying at times. Otherwise, loving it. Cooks very fast, quiet, and works as advertised. Black stainless is really sharp looking too.

Works well, looks good. Cons: a little noisy. Light is only on/off. Should have hi/low/off. Keypad is very hard to read.

We bought this microwave to replace our previous LG that went out. We wanted something simple that was able to meet our needs and in our price range. This one hit the mark. Overall it was easy to install and looks great in our kitchen. The only things i would recommend be improved on the next model are, the interior light is not bright enough and the buttons have to be pushed pretty firmly. Other than those 2 things, the microwave is great.

It’s a good quality, good sized, and powerful microwave. There are no “smart” features, but I actually consider that a plus as it doesn’t add any costs for features I would never use. But it has a good feature set. I used this to replace a Kenmore Elite that failed after 18 years. After discovering that the Kenmore was actually made by LG, this item was a natural. It even made installation very easy.

It's performing well for us so far. We like its simple, clean lines. We also like that it persistently reminds you when the cooking is done. (We have a tendency to forget things are in the microwave.) And the "Add 30 seconds" feature is helpful. One issue: You have to push very hard to activate the buttons.

This microwave looks very nice, matches well with our new LG Instaview fridge and buttons are easy to see and operate. However there are some things I don’t love that I had come to appreciate in our old GE and would make me think twice before another microwave purchase - (1) this microwave is noisy! Upon initial heating of an item it is especially loud, just really noisy humming, i don’t recall any microwave being so loud (2) the glass plate is only 12 in vs our old one was 14in even though both models have the same cuft / size. (3) there is only one brightness setting (vs 2 on our old one) on the surface light that shines below the unit, just a simple thing that could’ve been improved (4) the door is super stiff to open/shut, perhaps this will ease up over time.

This is a really nice microwave. The size of inside and the rack are a plus. The reason for the 4 stars (and it would be 4 1/2 stars - if I could) is there is no type of lighting on the control panel. At night, you need to turn on the kitchen light or have another source of light to see the panel. I am so accustom to the panels having backlights behind the controls that I didn't check that before purchasing. Any, I let the return/exchange window close, so now I am stuck unless I buy another. And I might do that because the lack of light on the control panel has started to wear on me. Otherwise, this is a really great microwave.

Microwave works great. Only downside is buttons are a little hard to push and the beep is very loud and keeps going off intermittently until I open the door. i wish there is some way to tone it down.

This is a nice looking over-the-range microwave and it's easy to use. The only down side it that its a bit noisy when it runs because the fan is activated when you use it.

This is a good Microwave, it looks great and have enough functions. The only disappointment thing is that it is a little bit noisy. I was not expecting that much noise.

Good size, extra options with shelf for rectangular dishes. Touchscreen buttons could be improved, but overall works well.

After installation the display panel flickered 24/7. That problem went away on its own. Geek Squad thought it was likely dust on the electronics. It has always worked great. Just a couple things to be aware of - there is just 1 light setting & there are no 1 button cook options.

Overall a good microwave for the price. A bit loud while in use, & the touch pad doesn’t light up except for clock. Very easy to clean inside, but outside shows fingerprints & wipe marks

I like the ease of using this unit. It looks good too. The only thing I don't like is that it seems a little loud and the light doesn't have a night light option. Saying that I would buy it again.

Have only used it a few times but seems ok so far. The sound is pretty loud but haven't looked to see if it can be adjusted. Also, have to press pretty hard on keypad but again, haven't had a chance to see if that can be adjusted, either. I can always come back and update my review once we've been using it a little longer and if the above mentioned can be adjusted.

This microwave cooks beautifully, evenly and fast. It has a nice sleek appearance and is easy to clean. The only negative is that the light which shines down on the stove is very dim and the keypad is not back lit and is a bit hard to read.
