    Have had the microwave 9 months now. After 3 months it stopped heating and had to have a tech out to repair. Now after 9 months it has stopped heating again and is being repaired again. I have no doubt it will break again in a few months and will not be under warrenty this time. When that happens I'll go with a different brand instead

    Dim Internal Light

    I have had the microwave for a bit over a year. I like many are having problems with the internal LED light dim. My light was fine up until about a month ago. I have owned the oven since Dec 2023 the light went dim after about 2 years. LG is not interested in addressing the problem under warranty.

    How to screw up the user interface on a microwave.

    I dont know how but they made using a microwave a terrible experience. They have a "feature" called express cook. As soon as you touch a button on the microwave keypad the microwave starts running. There is no way to turn the feature off. Also, the exhaust fan sounds like you are next to a jet taking off, the light is very dim and is a 30 watt incandescent. Is LG stuck in the 1990's? Do yourself a favor and skip on this LG microwave.

    this microwave has been great up until yesterday when it stopped heating anything. my one year warranty was up on March 13th and it stopped working on March 24th. Needless to say im not very happy with this unit. Complete waste of money.

    Awful experience. Awful customer service Orders twice and I paid for delivery but it was broken both time. Very bad product and vary bad customer services

    It died within 7 months of purchasing/installing. I paid for the extended Geek Squad warranty. It has taken me 3 hours to even get someone to understand my issue. Not sure if I'm going to buy anything from BB again!

    It’s 3/28 still no microwave.. took of work to wait and it was damaged no call no show… second arrangement took off work it didn’t come in… they said they left a voicemail they did not… so still no microwave… no follow up phone call

    When we decided to buy new appliances we decided to Go with all LG for our kitchen. So far we love them all. Of course every brand is slightly different in operational choices.We found The LG microwave very easy to learn and we are very pleased with our choice and all the options available to us in using tbe microwave in our kitchen.

    Overall, this is a good looking microwave that does the job well. - Most of the sensor functions are not very useful. However, a few like reheating pizza or a dinner plate work well. The sensor heat is better than manually entering times because it seems to heat a bit more evenly and slowly so that the food is steaming hot. But it only works for a narrow set of cases. - Like other LG products, the microwave plays a tune at the end of the cycle. Muting the beeps and tunes is not explained in the manual. To mute it, you need to press Stop and Clock buttons together and hold for 3 seconds. - The wifi functionality is not that useful. It can send a phone notification when cooking is done, if that is useful to you.

    This unit is actually saving me electricity as it cooks faster than my previous unit that had the very same wattage rating. The appearance is modern and clean while the control panel is glass rather than the flex plastic type that never looked as good as this.
