Hi, JalilN. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with your LG Microwave (MVEM1825X) model. We understand the importance of having your appliance operate reliably, especially after only a short time of use.

One step you can try is performing a power reset by unplugging the microwave for about 5 minutes, then plugging it back in to clear minor electrical glitches. Also, ensure the door is closing fully, and the latch is engaging, as misalignment can cause the unit to stop mid‑cycle. You can find more helpful guidance here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-microwave-oven-troubleshooting-no-power-issue--1429709038316. If you need further assistance after these steps, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so we can support you directly. ^Juvy LG

The machine stops cooking or heating abruptly in the middle of usage for about 30-60 minutes before it resumes.

Hi, Kwabena. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about your LG Microwave (MVEM1825X) model stopping mid-cycle. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and exceptional services to ensure a smooth experience.

So, about the microwave stopping and then resuming after a bit—it could be a safety feature to help prevent overheating. Just double-check that the vents, usually found on the top or back, aren’t blocked and that there’s enough space around the unit for good airflow.
