Best stand alone unit. I live in a small basement 800 SQ Ft 1 bedroom apartment with studio kitchen. It's setup in our bedroom and cools the entire unit with one fan assistance. The air immediately turns cold once on cool high mode. Pushes a large amount of air and exchanges for the chill that we're looking for. Really like the Wi-Fi system allowing us to see our bedroom temperature on our phone and activating the system when we want it. Smart system a huge plus with this powerful unit. LG lives up to its name.....Life is good with this one...

By far the best purchase I've ever made....this unit is super quiet and cools off my my living room in mins....highly recommend

This is my second LG air conditioner.My last one lasted6 half years and I have never had any problems. It wasn't throwing cold air and I thought it was time to get another with the heat wave coming and I was so glad I did. I got 14.000 BTU and so glad I did. I have a very small apartment and it keeps my whole apartment cool. I sincerely recommend you check LG out. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY! I keep my settings at 73 and air on low. Check them out if you are looking for a new A,/C. I am a very satisfied Senior Citizen!

Quiet and powerful. Heavy, so I placed it on a small dolly to more easily empy the reservoir with gravity. Far better than a window unit. and a cinch to install I bought three with no regrets!

Easy to install window kit, works well for size intended, nice to be able to control and check on through the app. Very quiet compared to other portable air conditioning units.

The unit seems to work good pretty quite the power cord a little short so if you need an extension cord make sure it’s rated properly I wouldn’t go over 10ft. The app wireless is nice little setup. I like I can schedule it on and off remotely. It does use energy so you can watch the kw on the app. Exhaust is totally required

I bought this thinking it was for an at most 500 sq ft room, when I received the item the box said it was 450 sq ft. I checked the item number to see if the number on the box matched what was advertised and they both matched! If I wanted the 450 sq ft unit, I would've bought that one instead, which is also cheaper than this one. According to the box, it only makes units up to 450 sq ft anyway. UPS was supposed to make 3 attempts to pick it up but only came once. To make sure my return window didn't end, I returned it myself. It was quite inconvenient returning as this unit was very heavy.

Nice, quiet and effective. We liked this AC so much we ended up buying a second unit for a different room.

I bought two units to replace older ACs. One was delivered damaged and has been returned, but the other unit has been perfect. It runs colder yet significantly quieter and more energy efficient than the older units I had previously. Rating 4* on quality since the box and shipping materials do not ship well–even the box for the AC which was not damaged was falling apart, so LG needs to reinforce their boxes better for shipping given how heavy and expensive these machines are.

Best buy has this unit advertised as 14,000 btu. A significant upgrade from my old broken unit, I thought. The box is sitting in my living room and clearly says 10,000 btu. Called best buy, they know about the ad and won't do anything. Now I have to drag this friggin thing back up to best buy?!? Not what I thought I was paying for!

Great product! Before purchasing this product we were using A/C window units. This is much better. I am person that likes having my binds open during the day to use natural daylight. Window units took up a lot of window space, which was a bummer. This product uses a much smaller space in the window. That gave us more natural lighting. This product was also really easy to setup. It is also really easy to use. I highly recommend it!

Not sure why so many people have complaints on noise. This is my 3rd LG air conditioner and it is 50x quieter than the other 2 I own. Cools my 500' room very effectively and is super quiet.

I researched every one of these by all brands at all stores that sell them. Finally chose This one. We Do have central heat and ac but the French bulldogs still get too hot. So this year we changed that. It was 78 in here. 88 outside. It made it cold in less Than 30 minutes. I had to get a blanket and sit on hands. The dogs are in heaven though!! This alone will make summer bearable when over 100* outside. Love the fictions, easily install, the Wi-Fi on phone I can use anywhere. Only thing I don’t care for it the remote, to work it has to have direct line of site. I don’t because my couch is blocking it. So I just use Phone anyways to Change. So happy to have now!

Outstanding unit!! Purchased in 3 years ago, and it's still kicking away!! Keeps my bedroom at least 20*F below outside temperature in a old home. It was expensive though. I also like the dual inverter technology.

These are the best portable air conditioners I've ever used. I bought one back in 2021, and I was impressed how perfectly comfortable it kept my large living room. Surprisingly energy efficient, as far as Air Conditioners go. The noise level is negligible. On the highest fan setting, it's noticeable in my living room while watching TV on my home theater, but not terrible. I actually found that running it at medium speed after the initial room cool down was more than enough to keep the place comfortable! (My living room is about 300sq ft, and we have surprisingly terrible ventilation...so this place turns into a SoCal oven fast in the summer!)

It is quite powerful and fast for colling down. But, I failed to connect it wirelessly the first time. Also, the isolation foam needs to be cut as single time usage, not compatible with its portable feature

I am very happy with this unit! Its quite, works well, and the price was not too bad.

Cools extremely fast, easy to setup providing you have slide windows.

Let's start with a controversial topic: Yes, you will hear a very slight high pitched sound when the compressor turns on. Similar to when turning on a tube TV back in the day. However, after 3 days of using this AC, I barely even hear it anymore as I've gotten used to it. I almost didn't buy this AC because of reviews complaining about it - It's not that bad, seriously. Second, the App for this AC is mediocre. Not very optimized, has slow loading times, but it still dos its job of being able to control the AC when I'm not home and set schedules from my phone. Big plus for me. I don't use the dehumidifier setting so I don't have issues with needing to drain my AC. All in all, although it's worth a pretty penny, I'm happy with this portable AC. I am looking to buy another for a different room in the house, though it says sold out...
