It's does a fair job. Don't expect it to cool your garage in the summer time. Set at 80 degrees it can run all day and be lucky to reach 82. Probable better off with a window unit for that application. Probably will do well with an interior room during an extended power outage. The app works well for controls.

Not the best a/c especially for the price The temperature management is not good. If you put it on 70 degrees the a/c will stay running till it hits 68 degrees. The noise is not bad it’s workable.

The air condition unit cane cracked most likely from shipping company and bestbuy sent a replacement and had a shipping company come and pick up the cracked unit. The new unit is a great ac unit and much more quite than my previous swamp cooler.

So disappointing, Our bedroom is fairly big and our old LG portable AC was only 8000 BTU. So we figured this one would be perfect. Especially for a price like this. First off we had it delivered to the house and the box was damage and it was all taped up as if someone already opened it.I was very disappointed too. But after setting it up it wasnt blowing any cold air and even at the highest fan speed it still wasnt blowing strong air. Our old was even stronger than this. You would think something that expensive will be amazing but nope. Our old one thats over 8 years old and has lower BTUs was better than this. I returned the product the same day we got it. DONT GET THIS ONE. Unless you have a small room, I would not recommend a big room like a master bedroom.

Sometimes i think its ok and sometimes it dosnt seem to work good. The buttons dont always work. Wish i had a window right for a window unit

When I purchased the unit, online it said 500 sq.ft. but when I received the box it said up to 450 sq.ft. The box was in pretty bad shaped, almost as if it was placed in storage for many years. Once the unit was installed and placed, as soon as it turned on it had a CL 26 Code. It didn't even run for 15 seconds at all. Very disappointed for the price that was paid.

Exactly what I was looking for in an AC in my rental house

It worked fine the first month, but for the last month it no longer cools our space (even though it's smaller than the recommended square footage). We've tried to troubleshoot the issue but to no avail. Unfortunately for us, it is no longer returnable according to Best Buy policy, and LG refuses to actually help. LG's warranty covers defective parts but if they do in-home service and it turns out their parts are not the issue, they will charge you for the visit. We're now out ~$800, don't make the same mistake as us, buy another brand and from another vendor.

I had a LG window unit that I loved with the dual inverter. It was super quiet, super cold and more than covered the room. This was absolutely none of those things. I returned it. I Would not recommend unless you have good deals on your windows and need just a little help cooling a room. But for the price there’s much better units for that for much cheaper.

This air conditioning does its job if it's no warmer than 85 degrees out. It has leaked since the day I got it, and LG support has been useless.

I recently purchased this and loved that it was so quiet during operation. Unfortunately it consistently leaks and flooded my carpet so I had to return. Wish I could have kept but it shouldn’t leak the first day of operation.

I was using another brand and they finally went out on me. Having to go out and buy a new one at this time is not what I wanted to do. But Summer is coming and it may be hard to find a good one. So I have been using a week now and the room is nice and cold. This unit is much much quieter than past units. This would be a great investment if you need a good AC.

This is exactly what I wanted! It’s got WiFi-which was paramount due to being at work all day and having an animal at home. It’s nice to not have to turn an AC on at 6:30 in the morning when it’s really not needed at that time. The other huge factor is portability-I’m inching closer and closer to middle-age and putting in window units every year is really challenging. So to be able to roll out of storage and plug in is much more ideal.

I love my air conditioner! It works great for my living room, it cools it quickly and was easy to install. The only thing that I complain about is that it is loud and It was supposed to be like number two as far as least noisy. But it does a job when its hot and you want to cool off!

So far so good. (Extreme heat is yet to hit). Very easy to set up. Love the fact that the exhaust hose is so easy to pull out/retract. So far I've only had to use the machine for a few hours at a time to cool down my bedroom before sleep. Easy to pull the hose out, so I can have most of the window open and can pull shades all the way down. This is a benefit I wasn't expecting.
