The back side damage is from shipping which annoyed me, but when i took it out, the front side that had things protecting it is also damaged. So whoever put it together doesnt care about quality. For a name brand and how expensive it was, i would expect it to be better assembled. I have not hooked it up yet so i hope i dont have any other issues. But first impression is not good. Trying to upload photos but it says failed to load...

This unit is so quiet! Takes a little more initial setup than just setting it in the window seal and dropping the window down. But it is so much more secure in the window. Ill be replacing more of my window units as they stop working with these LG units.

I use to have a 10,000 btu unit, and would never cool the living room. With this one i have to turn it down because it gets cold. Super silent no rattling or shaking.
