Even when set any higher temperature the cooling is very minimal. In addition, the window where the unit is installed is positioned too high, which makes airflow less effective and contributes to poor cooling. Overall, it does not meet expectations for properly cooling a space

One helpful step you can try is ensuring the tilt of the AC is slightly downward toward the outside, which helps the unit drain properly and improves overall cooling efficiency. Adjusting the direction of the louvers to angle airflow downward can also help compensate for a higher window placement. It cools the space quickly. Some people find it a bit noisy but no more than say a box fan. Which some people like for white noise.

Best Window Air Conditioner

I have a small room and it cools down the room very quickly. I only use it at night for my bedroom. LG is a great brand. I have 2 other LG's in my house. Also, Best Buy delivers everything quickly.

Just one issue: The one seems to be storing Water/Condensation after use and when turned on, spews water all over:( Otherwise I would have rated 5 Star. Have to contact Manufacturer.

I’ve purchased a similar model 3 years ago, but it stopped working due to the dusty environment it was kept in. But this is an excellent ac unit for the price.

I didn’t realize it blew upwards though like old motel air conditioners, but I have it centrally located so it works out pretty well. I would purchase another one for myself if needed.

Puts out enough cold air to cool a small bedroom even during record breaking heatwave in SoCal. I bought another one for a larger bedroom and it’s cooling that one great also. Very happy.
