Bought this to provide sound near us in bed. Needed the Bluetooth capability and it does not disappoint. Easy to wall mount with the two back screw holes already installed. Did not need the "L" brackets we bought for this. Best Buy also had an inexpensive Bluetooth transmitter which included various cables to run to the TV depending on the type of connection available.

It was fast and easy to get an exchange for my repair product. Getting a gift card and putting it on a new LG sound bar. And I got exactly what I wanted!

Theater sound for little money!

Bought this today for my mother for her 32 inch tv in her bedroom. The sound is immensely powerful. A lot of bass and faux surround sound. She is using it without her tv it is so good. My only complaint is when you use the volume on it there is no indication of how loud it is. Would be nice to have numbers or a gauge of some kind.
Other than that, it is a must buy for any one whose tv is just not quite loud enough and needs that extra punch for very little money.
Highly recommend!

A great budget soundbar

A solid budget soundbar. The soundbar features an optical port for connecting to a television or audio receiver, but also has Bluetooth available. The sound itself is pretty great, but not mind blowing or anything, as it is lacking in the bass, and therefore missing a fair amount of weight and impact when watching movies. As a soundbar for a bedroom, it is stellar, as it is loud enough for a smaller space and sounds better within the smaller space. The biggest problem with it is that it can only be controlled with the remote, as there is no buttons on the unit itself.

I wasn’t expecting much at first but this little soundbar seriously elevated my TV experience. The sound is clear, punchy, and way fuller than I imagined for a 2.0 setup. It connected in seconds and made a huge difference in both movie nights and gaming. Clean design, no clutter, and fills the room without needing a giant speaker system. For the price? An absolute steal.

Not to bad

This is my very first soundbar. I have to say for the size and power it's not bad. It's only 40 Watts but the sound is very crisp very clear during movie play. Background noises are a bit clearer than the movie would allow. Music from movies are very crisp very clean very loud. There are no external speakers with the soundbar. It comes with one optical cable no HDMI cable. Sony HDMI cable would have to be bought if you wanted to do HDMI through sound. The size of sound bar is less than 30 inches long. So for small TVs 39 inch and down it actually is a very suitable little Soundbar especially for somebody who is just starting out. Granted if you wanted higher-quality sound go with something that has subwoofer and maybe external speakers. Yet if you just starting out this is a nice quality little sound bar I compared to other prices and the LG 40 watt is competitively priced at $100. The best I can say is don't trust anybody was reviews especially the negative reviews because everybody's different judge for yourself if you just starting out it's a nice quality little sound bar that's why I give it 4 stars.

I walked in looking for a sound bar that had good sound but that didn’t include the subwoofer since I don’t have any room for one at the moment. I found this sound at and decided to give it a test run. All I can say is this, it was worth it.
Pros:
-Small bar that’s capable of fitting in many areas.
-Easy connection of the sound bar with the TV with the digital output cable that is included with the box.
-Bluetooth works great and can be easily found with any smartphone.
-Volume levels and features are awesome. Still experimenting to find the best sound setup.
Cons:
-Remote is battery-powered. Although this isn’t really much of an issue, my remotes tend to run out of batteries very quickly, even when the appliances are not in use. This includes my Roku TV stick. But that’s another story
-Another remote = keeping track of where all the controllers are. Again, not a big of an issue, but it might be to some.
Overall, I am really enjoying my experience with this sound bar as of right now

Although I have two surround sound systems already in the house, one in the theater and one for the family room, the kids were feeling left out. After a deal was struck based on grades at school we came upon the perfect solution. This LG 2.0 channel soundbar was perfect for our needs. Although this set up is considered entry level it really does punch well above its weight and price tag. It should come as no surprise that system is a huge leap over even very good tv speakers. Its small size and minimal cords take up very little space and it connects with everything from a xbox to a pc with no hassles. Easy enough for a 5 and 8 year old to use. I really have no complaints at all and in fact walked away a bit more than surprised as to how good the sound quality is given the price LG did a really good job here. Although not up to the level of premium systems out there for this price I seriously doubt you can find anything better.

Imagine you are in your modest size apartment with an 7-year-old 1080p LG TV(Non-Smart TV) in your bedroom and you don't want the audio too loud nor inadequate. Also, you don't want a sound bar that takes so much space, yet simply stylish and does what you wish. Most importantly, you don't want to have a beef with people living down in the underworld, I mean downstairs. LG has the perfect item for me. I left the house to pick it and was already watching an hour and a half later because it was easy to install. I first tried this in the movie called "Thirteen Lives." I really appreciate the clarity of the dialogues and the the sounds of pouring rain and the underwater scene were immersive. I played this in what I called airplane mode where I play airplane cabin sound from Youtube just to get a sense of how to fall asleep in a first class seat. LG made me feel good. You won't need a pill of melatonin because pouring rain and thunderstorms sounds realistic and will put you to sleep . Buy this if you do not plan to have a home theatre anytime soon. For a total of $109 including tax, I have a tool that will make me go to bed on time.

Was looking for a soundbar for a new bedroom TV and was limited by the armoire dimensions and my budget. Found this one on sale for a price I was willing to pay. Sound is good enough for a bedroom but does not have a lot of bass you would get with a sub. Dialog is good and music is acceptable. I would not buy this as my primary sound if you planned to use it's Bluetooth capabilities to play music louder. The provided optical cable and power cord is all that is necessary to hook it up. My Comcast remote was able to learn the code and turn it off and on without using the tiny remote that comes with it. It turns off automatically after a few minutes with no input and starts immediately when the TV turns on. Had it about a month and entirely satisfied for what it is and the price I paid. Don't have real high expectations because it won't sound like the $600 bars, but you did not pay that price anyway.

Keep in mind this is a very inexpensive soundbar. There are some that cost 800 dollars. This one will give you good and clear sound, but wont be pounding down the house and blowing your eardrums. Originally purchased because our older upstairs TV speakers one day stopped working dead in its tracks. Did not want to spend the money on a new TV because we like this one a lot, and this sound bar was very easy to pair through the TV with both the LG and comcast remote thats for the TV itself. So when the TV goes on, this automatically knows to turn on, same thing with off. Very sleek and discreet too, and in my personal opinion, a sound bar on an entertainment center adds some appeal/ style to a room. Does the job and couldn’t complain about it otherwise! No problems thus far.

Easy to install. Just plug the optical cord into my TV and turned my TV sound off.
Good bassy sound.
However, adjusting the volume is a minor nightmare. The remote has to be pointing directly at the sound bar. And there is no indication of where the volume is. So I am always guessing

I have a mild hearing loss that makes it difficult to understand the dialog on my favorite TV shows. Talking to friends suggested that a sound bar might improve the sound quality. While surfing Best Buy, I found a couple of sound bars for less than $100 and selected the LG 2.0 unit because of previous good experience with LG products. My Insignia TV has an optical connection, as does the sound bar, so I was able to use the supplied optical cable for connection. I turned the sound of the TV way down. The sound is now clearer and helps me understand the dialog. It has Bluetooth so I can also play music from my phone through the soundbar. It is also small and fits nucely on my TV stand. The surprising feature is that my Xfinity voice remote has found the sound bar so it controls the volume just as it did for the TV. I’m well satisfied with this item.
