Large interior

Be aware this is a large microwave and takes up space.

I selected another one and it was more expensive. The unit works as well as any I have purchased in the past.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item to replace my old Panasonic microwave for two basic reasons: it would hold a13x9 inch baking dish and it saved me about $100 vs. a replacement. Also, I have had good luck with LG purchases in the past. I gave it four stars only because it requires a bit more time to cook items (1200 vs. 1250 watts), poorly illuminated controls, non-intuitive controls, and a tinny sound to the door closure. All in all it does what it does what it should.

My only complaint is that the numbers on the control panel are too faint making it very difficult to operate the unit without bright lights being on in the room.

Opening the door is a little bit cumbersome until you get used to pushing a side button before pushing the button to open the door.
