I bought this item to replace my old Panasonic microwave for two basic reasons: it would hold a13x9 inch baking dish and it saved me about $100 vs. a replacement. Also, I have had good luck with LG purchases in the past. I gave it four stars only because it requires a bit more time to cook items (1200 vs. 1250 watts), poorly illuminated controls, non-intuitive controls, and a tinny sound to the door closure. All in all it does what it does what it should.

My previous microwave died unexpectedly so we went to Best Buy and found this microwave at a great discount. We have used it daily ever since and I have been very happy with its results.

If you don't hit that "start" button/add 30 second button in exactly the right spot, it doesn't go vroom. But it cooks as expected. high powered.

This microwave is the perfect purchase. I was looking for a high power, easy to use appliance. I am very happy with this brand. Functionality is easy-to-use. Thank you LG.

Works well, nice timer sounds, no loud beeps. It also fit into the existing trim kit.

it was a great replacement for our previous microwave

I am very pleased with our new microwave! It is very quiet and the inside is massive to handle large bulky dishware. The sensor heat works great as well. It also looks sleek on the counter. There is a nice feature to lock the handle to open the microwave if you need to worry about that but for us, we don’t, and it’s nice that we can keep it unlocked at all times. I would highly recommend this microwave!

Love it! It's quiet easy to use and heats fast all the way through.

We're used to cheap $50 microwaves and had no idea what a difference in quality there actually was. This LG in particular is so quiet that I can barely tell it's running and the unit itself is well balanced. There's no sliding when you press to door button and the interface is intuitive. I have yet to try out the air fryer option, but something tells me I won't be disappointed.

Overall this version is much better than the previous year version. They finally changed the opening button. No issues yet. Fingers cross. Does everything well. Heats up the basic items quickly. Good microwave for the price. Only problem or issue was the button not working properly.

I had been looking for some time and consulted a few appliance store about replacing a whirlpool microwave with trim kit. I went into a Best Buy store and a guy on the floor took time to look up dimensions for me and find a store in the area that had what I was looking for. The store I went into didn't have the model LC I was wanting. The trim kit fit the new new unit!

This is a very nice and easy to use microwave. It is a great size.
