The only thing I don't like about it is the chimes for when the cooking time is done and the chimes for pressing the time for cooking. They aren't very loud so it can be hard to hear when the cooking is done. I'm a senior and I wear hearing aides so it is even more difficult to hear them. I don't put things in the microwave and not pay attention and don't leave the area so it's not too bad but could be for someone who roams the house.

These ones last us 5 years and function perfectly besides the opening button. Can't imagine anyone can engineer a button that is responsible for a million door slams without busting after 5-7 years.

The onboard Smart diagnostic did not detect a problem. The only part LG covers for longer than two years is the magnetron. I decided to have it replaced. LG covers the part but not the labor. I was quoted $256 for a house call by repairman. I told LG I paid less for the microwave than parts and labor would cost; asked for a replacement. They said tough luck.
