    We got this to replace a framed in / built in unit that was a combination microwave and convection oven for 25 years. We never used the convection oven feature. It fit the hole perfectly, with a small gap you don't notice. This has much more power, and heats evenly. What we miss are the programming features that we used for cooking steel-cut oats or baked potatoes.

    We love everything about this microwave. We hope it lasts many years. It was good that our old trim kit for a GE model that is no longer made fit nicely.
