I give it 3 stars only for a couple of reasons. First it rocks on my counter which is totally annoying. No matter how much I try to adjust the feet. The buttons are funny as often you need to press them more than once. One thing to know is this thing is HUGE! Way bigger than we need but not a reason to return it. As far as heating up food or water for tea it works great.

It was much bigger than anticipated but worked well, heated everything through and rather quickly. Overall we were satisfied until it started to spark and hum during an attempt to make a bag of popcorn. The microwave feature no longer works, but the plate spins and the light turns off and on. Less than 8 months old and it’s probably toast. We bought it with the Best Buy credit card and Total Membership, but I foolishly canceled my Total renewal last month. We made an appointment for a repair with Geek Squad, only to find out that our warranty was void, our scheduled time slot was before the store opened due to a computer error, and Best Buy doesn’t actually do Microwave repairs which they could have indicated on my appointment information. Today was a Total disappointment. Hopefully the LG warranty will come through and I can change my review, but this is a lunker of a microwave to be hauling around for a fix.

Bought the 4 year support warranty for $35 since there have been reports of these failing in 2 years. Very roomy.

My experiences with microwaves have been the same so mediocrity became the norm. However, this microwave showed me what I have been missing all these years which is efficiency. If you are in the market, dont be afraid to pull the trigger. Way to go LG!

Shocked that this new microwave hade the same dimension as the built in so the old kit fit the new microwave! Very happy

We especially liked that you just touched the numbers instead of having to push harder. We had to return it.
