We purchased this microwave oven two years ago and couldn't be more pleased! High power unit, yet very quiet. Roomy inside and very easy to clean. The trim kit was pricey and not the best quality but our installer did a great job and appearance with our other appliances turned out beautifully.

I bought this to replace an old microwave that finally died. This one was a little bigger and higher wattage. Pros: 1200 watts easy to use Easy to clean Stainless Steel gives sleek look Cons: Thekeypad is hard to read in low light. BONUS POINTS: I've never bothered with power levels in the past but with all the automatic 1 touch buttons its a beeze. For example the butter soften feature worked perfectly and the popcorn button BLEW MY MIND!!! Push the popcorn button once, no entering bag size, you don't even have to push start and it did the rest. It sensed when the popcorn was done and stopped automatically with out a single burnt piece and only 3 yes 3 unpopped kernels. I have never seen a microwave pop popcorn this well. I'm very very pleased with this microwave.

After reading many reviews and comparing different microwaves, I decided to go with this one. One general trend that I am seeing is that microwaves don't last long nowadays. But I see that issue across different brands and models, so don't let that be a limiting factor when selecting a brand. I had this microwave only for about a month now and so far everything is great. It's a huge microwave. So, if you are living in an apartment / have less counter space, this might not be the one for you. Also, this is heavy and wont sit on the cheap microwave carts. However if you are looking for a decent, large size microwave, this one should satisfy you. With 1200W power, it heats food quickly - It took me couple weeks to get used to the heating/cooking times in this unit. One thing I don't like in this microwave is that only the front of the unit is stainless steel. The sides are black. You wont realize that when you order online as most pictures only show the front view. While most stainless steel appliances have only the front area made of actual stainless steel, they use gray or some better colors / looks on the side. LG deciding to use black color on all the side for this is not that great, especially if the position of the microwave on the counter-top allows people to see the side of the unit. However, overall I am pleased with this unit and would recommend this.

This unit is easy to use and has worked great for one month. It is very large and cooks much faster than the unit that it replaced. The front panel is stainless steel, but the sides are painted black. I purchased this based on the low price, but I am concerned about the many negative reviews regarding LG customer service and poor reliably of the unit.

It was small enough to fit my old microwave space barely. Easy to set up. Love having a kitchen timer as an option. No real complaints. Annoyances:the display goes into energy mode and does not show the clock unless a button is hit. the sound for the item being cooked keeps going off and off and off till you open the door (3 times would be enough, are you listening?)

This microwave is the perfect size for my counter. It seems to work well and isn't too loud. So far, the re- heating of food seems to be even so that's a good point. It's easy to clean also. So far, this has been a good purchase. I would have preferred it to cost less, as I have seen others at a lower cost, but I was desperate to replace the one that shorted out and this was a convenient purchase.

Decided to buy this rather large microwave for a new home. Works great, easy to use, lots of features. Ended up being cheaper in price than the 1.5 cu ft model. We had the space for the larger one so we bought it instead of the smaller one which what we were originally looking at. It's a great microwave so far. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

We are very much enjoying our new LG microwave. It is huge on the inside and lots of great features. Our favorite is the butter softener feature. Push a button to either melt or soften the butter! Like I said...Love it! And we are still learning about all the fun things it can do and nice stainless steel finish, Also very quiet! Highly recommended!

This LG microwave was the exact size as a GE microwave I had to replace. I had a GE microwave whose interior plastic coating starting to peel off and the metal under was rusting. I had paid a lot of $$ for the face plate to make the microwave have the 'fitted' look into my cabinet. This face plate cost more than the microwave itself, but is very specific to a particular the microwave LG must have made this as a drop-in replacement for this GE face plate (or bought the outside shape/size from GE) because it was sized the same, and it fit exactly into the GE face plate --- the holes were even drilled the same. This LG microwave is very spacious. What I don't like is that the digital clock goes dark after 5min of non-use, and you cannot disable this 'energy saving feature'. Also, it has an 'add 30min' cooking button you can press a couple of times for quick cooking, but it doesn't have the 1 touch button to get quick common times (ie #1 button = 1min, #2 button = 2min, etc) that the GE had. Other that that, this microwave is good. The best part for me was that it fit exactly into the GE face plate, as I mentioned (GE doesn't make a replacement microwave for that face plate anymore).

This oven is a joy to use and just the right size for me, cooking for one but it is capable of larger cooking projects. I like the quick times due to the 1200 watt system. It is easy to clean and performs reliably. My only quiibble is about the display and selection pad, which goes black between uses, so I have to open the door to read the panel.

Bought the unit to replace a built-in Thermidor. Fit great and works even better than the original. Looks great too. Very happy with the purchase and the sales personnel were all very helpful. Though I could have ordered online, it was nice to be able to go to the store, see the item, and bring it home the same day.

A very good quality microwave, really easy to get up and using with many special features but the basic user of the microwave will like to to do the small task. Really deeep inside so you can put your large plates and bowls inside and not to metion veryeasy to clean. Nice owners manual to explain features

I'll admit, this was not the first Microwave I looked at and I really didn't intend on getting this at first. But I wanted something reliable that would replace an old Emersson that had finally broken down. I'll admit I was very glad I did! This is a BIG microwave and it's much stronger than people might need. It's certainly stronger than I actually thought I needed. But as I said, I'm glad I got it. It's quieter than I expected, very efficient, and it cooks very fast. It's also much easier to clean than my old one. Still, if you are considering this, understand this is rather large. I had to rearrange my counter to accommodate this. But that's minor as it's a very good unit to have.

I purchased this to replace a Sharp microwave that lasted less than two years. So far my only complaints are the cord is too short and the display is difficult to read. I have the microwave on a counter high portable cabinet. The outlet is behind the cabinet on the lower portion of the wall. The cord does not reach the outlet even though it is a straight line vertically from the microwave to the outlet. The cord is located at the top of the microwave which seems odd. The display is glossy black with gray touch pads. It's difficult to read the gray on black and the glossy black reflects light making it even more difficult to read. Otherwise it seems like a well made product. It heats well and no hot spots on the food. I've used the defrost quite a bit and it does a great job. My Sharp had a tendency to cook the outside of whatever I was defrosting. Not so with the LG. The real test will be it's longevity. I'm tired of replacing microwaves every two years.

Our old micro had served us well but this one is a great replacement! The curved back wall is a nice touch. Intuitive to use yet still has a full range of features. Fit perfectly in the space and looks great too. The only reason I did not give it a five is because I have not used all the bells and whistles but very happy to this point.

We really needed a new microwave. I did some research. This met a lot of criteria. It's big and it's powerful. The one button doesn't work (you need to set a time and then hit start). You get used to this really fast. It's a great microwave, large dishes heat up consistently and because of it's size 2.0 cubic feet you can put a couple of dishes in it. I seldom microwave anything (including a plate of food) for more than 2 minutes. Most things are steaming/bubbling in one minute (even things you take out of a fridge). It's a strong microwave and so far works great. I saw online and in some reviews that the latch sometimes breaks. It seems like a sturdy well made latch. So far so good.

This thing is solid. It's a performer! It's also very smart. Reasons I love this 9+ year old microwave. - Enormous interior (seriously, I think I can cook a large turkey in it). - 1200 watts of cooking power - Sensor cooking - Reheating options - Popcorn button (just kidding, who cares?!?!?! - Rotating, removal, huge glass platter (I think it was a gladiators shield in a past life. - Super easy to clean. This thing continues to perform like it did the day we bought it. LG has made a solid product here.

We bought this microwave as a replacement when our older microwave died. Originally bought the 1.5 cu ft model, however when we got home we realized we had the extra space for the larger model. It heats up food quick and the stainless steel looks modern and sleek.

We were looking for a relatively large microwave that was easy to use and this one works nicely. It's easy to use and very handsome in our kitchen of stainless steel appliances. It would be wonderful if it had additional express cook buttons but overall it's a great product.
