    This microwave performs well, but the selection buttons are hard to read unless there is considerable light in the room. If you find it getting harder to see in darker environments, I would look for a microwave with contrasting text on the selection buttons or buttons that light up. In addition, when closing the microwave door it sounds tinny.

    Keypad works well, door and release button are sturdy. Reminder beep that food is done can be annoying.

    The cook buttons should have a light behind them so you can see when it is dim in the kitchen.

    We bought this to replace our old microwave. Used it once and it was defective. Sounded like a fan in the back was grinding against something and it was very loud. Not a normal microwave noise so we returned it for a Panasonic.
