    This LG Microwave Oven replaced a Panasonic Microwave Oven that failed after 10 years. You have to have it in a well lighted room if you want to be able to read the programming selections. It is noisier then my Panasonic was and the power levels aren't convenient like the Panasonic. On this LG if you pick any Power Level less than 100% the Magnetron Tube turns on and off at different intervals to regulate the power level of cooking. On a Panasonic the Magnetron Tube is powered down making for a more even cooking. This was just a case of thinking the grass would be greener on the other side and it wasn't. I should have stuck with Panasonic. I even have to splice a piece of electrical cord into the electric cord on this LG to be able to set the Microwave where I had my Panasonic sitting.

    Ordered new LG ST2010 microwave; picked up item and at first glance thought something not right. Got microwave home, opened box, the top styrofoam piece was not intact. Took microwave out of box and plugged it in and the door would not open & didn"t start. Returned item for refund.
