    The microwave went out in less than 6 months. I asked for a replacement and instead they sent a tech and it was "fixed". Fast forward 4 months and microwave is dead again. Called support and they said the 1 year warranty has finished and I would have to buy another unit. horrinlenVEñ1j

    Do not buy this microwave if you plan to boil anything on the stove below it. There are 4 speeds on the fan and even on the "turbo" setting, the steam does not sufficiently pull into the bottom of the microwave. By the time a pot of spaghetti is done, the front of the microwave and the cabinet above are dripping with condensation. Geek Squad said it was operating as designed, but the direction of the intake from the stove below is not a good design. Waste of money. I wish I would have kept my 15 year old Whirlpool microwave. I never had a problem like this. I will be talking to Best Buy and LG to get some kind of resolution, but I am fairly sure I will be stuck with this thing. Awful. All my appliances are LG, but this has changed my opinion on their products. Never again. Buyer beware!

    Broke after just over a year. Went to use it today. Starts for about 30 seconds then shuts off completely. Came back on after about a minute. Try it again and it shuts down again.

    The front panel of this microwave is held together with a couple weak plastics clips. They have cracked twice in less than 12 months leaving the number pad hanging off the microwave.

    Basic microwave with no real features. There is nothing wrong with the unit. I am sure if you want a no frills appliance this is perfect.I also felt the unit was rather high priced.

    I bought this microwave June 2020. I rarely used it, only for melting butter, chocolate for baking, reheating coffee and making popcorn. Over the past few months, the electric switch on the panel started flipping and the microwave turned itself off. I called in two different electricians to look and the panel and they both told me it was the microwave. I had a microwave repair service over and was told the magnatron was bad. Imagine my surprise for an appliance that got minimal use and was less than 18 months old. NO more LG's for me!!!

    Stopped heating first time usey

    Unit stopped heating the first time I used it.... seemed ok the next day so tried a few things again, worked ok to defrost but then went to make rice and stopped heating about 1/2 way through - now have to have service come try to see what’s wrong with it—- used it twice so far! Beyond frustrated! However I will give kudos to LG’s customer service, no hassle and helpful getting quick service call.

    Don't buy LG over the range microwave

    The installer had to install it 5 times and drill 4 extra holes and when they completed the doors over the microwave would not open I had to take the doors off and cut a half inch off the bottom so they would open because it had a hinge that was a half inch above the microwave LG is a no buy Best Buy should have told me about this problem I have had other over the range microwave and never had this issue

    Make a high pitch noise when using the energy saver mode. then it just quit working. you have to unplug it and wait 10 sec and plug it back in to reset it self.
