I was concerned about buying this microwave because of the height. The specs say that it is 16.43 inches in height. Mine is 15 5/8, which fits much better, in my opinion. There was a mounting nut missing, but the installer compensated. Yes, it is noisy, but it is so much more effective, who cares? Best thing? I checked it online today, and it is $30 more than I paid. Happy me.

Easy to install. Cooks food very evenly. One button selection is easy for most items. No complaints.

Love everything about it but the exhaust fan noise. Move air well and I exhausted it outdoors but it's a bit loud when your cooking and it's running. Everything else about this unit is top grade.

We love the look of this microwave. It was easy to install. I did it myself and saved $140. Lots of features ( most of which we will probably never use but nice to have the options). The rack is kind of an annoyance which we usually take out. We have had the device for about a week and so far it delivers as promised.

No problems with installation or operation. Good size.

I bought this product five months ago on Black Friday and installed the week before Christmas. We have been having issues as we boil water/cook on the burner below the keypad (therefore the right front burner on my matching LG Stove). After several minutes of cooking with or without the fan, the microwave starts beeping asking to press numbers for power level. It will continue to do this even after pressing Stop/Clear. Eventually when we stop cooking underneath, some of the keypad buttons work, After hours pass, and it dries off, it will start working. The last two times, I had to unplug and plug the unit back in for the keypad to fully function. So I called LG for tech support and scheduled an appointment to have it looked at. After failing to recreate the issue and explaining it to him over and over again, the technician says there is nothing he can do. That I shouldn't be boiling things like that on the stove. To either cover the pot or use a different burner. I then asked, so what happens when I cook vegetables and rice on the front burners? He had no answer. He said he will be contacting LG if he should replace the keypad as a courtesy. He left and said he will be calling me back. After owning my previous (non LG) microwave for over 10 years with not one issue, I am very surprised he would use that as an excuse. Keypads are typically sealed with a non-permeable surface. Somehow, the vapor gets in the unit and causes the short, which I assume is not the keypad, rather the keypad is the victim in this issue. Somehow, the seal is not good elsewhere. But, the technician tells me to use a different burner instead. I feel I am in for a long struggle with LG that will not end well...

Disappointed. I really really really liked this microwave, until now. Bought in May of 2019. Completely stopped working by Jan 2022. Only appliance for the entire kitchen set I decided not to get an extended warranty on, of course. This was standard use in a home with two adults and a toddler. Kept it clean, and used appropriate settings. This was not an overused appliance in our home. LG customer service wasn’t much help, after several calls. Only provided two numbers of local appliance repair companies. Left multiple messages and never got a call back from either. The microwave is useless now as anything other than as a vent and over range light. That’s the only reason we’ve kept it up (aside from aesthetics) until we can decide what kind of replacement we want. Hesitant to buy another LG, although I’ve been happy with there other appliances I’ve owned over the last several years. Chances are it’s the magnetron, which is covered under a 10 year warranty by LG, but you can’t get the part by itself for no cost apparently. Only able to get it through an LG contracted repair business, and labor is not covered. From what I understand the labor costs are about as much as a brand new microwave. We may try and repair ourselves if we can figure out what the actual issue is. Just a bummer.

Who gives this 5 stars? We had it installed for three years. We have had service on it twice (once for a door problem and once for a keypad problem). Now it is just dead. And the filter inside the door fell off about a year ago and the handle only has one screw left. This is NOT a 5 star unit. This is poorly made junk piece that will not last three years.

I've had this microwave for 4 months. The buttons are hard to push or activate. On Thanksgiving day while cooking, the microwave stopped working for a few hours. Not sure if it was because it's over the stove and I had 3 pots boiling and the steam affected it. Later that afternoon it started working again but it was frustrating on such a busy day of cooking.

So far so good, replaced an existing LG microwave I like that I did not have to remove the old wall mount hardware, the new one was the same mounting as the old one even though the old microwave was 6 years old.

Works fine, but wouldn't buy any LG applncs again!

Like this microwave very much. Would be nice to have a slower fan speed. Four fan speeds; fast, really fast, ultra fast and wind tunnel.

Purchased in 2016 and died in 2022. Finish started chipping off after a few years

Comes with a 10 year warranty on the motor the most in the industry.

got this item open box excellent. its an over the range product and it suffices for what i need it. nothing else. its not convection.

A decent microwave but we have noticed two things, one, the buttons have to be pressed with considerable force to get it to register and more importantly, two, the light. Underneath this unit is a light that illuminates the stove. If you leave this light on, say for an hour, and then open the door of the microwave and place your hand on the other side of that light, it is hot, and I mean it will burn you instantly hot. This can not be a good thing. Certainly not what we were expecting from an LG product. They are usually more expensive as a premium product but this one is made rather cheaply. Disappointing.

Love the microwave with the exception of the fact that it scratched extremely easily. Not sure how as it was well after it was mounted and it is at the top of the microwave which doesn't come in contact with anything...we had purchased the fridge/oven and microwave and the entire package left a lot to be desired.

Matches and simple but very nice and easy to use , color and controls are very nice

I like this microwave. It is powerful and has convienent touch keyboard.

i can cook faster and very much less noise it makes from my old one
