We were upgrading our kitchen. Our microwave worked fine but wanted to upgrade and match the units. This LG replaced a Whirlpool and really outperforms the old unit.

Apparently, you cannot get a 1500W microwave any longer. This 1000W microwave still does the job of a 1500W microwave but does it more efficiently. It seems to heat more evenly than my previous 1500W unit. I found that I need to add a few more seconds to the cook times but my 1500W would heat some portions of the food to near volcanic temperatures while other areas were still cold. This unit is efficient and even in it's cooking. I have not had the unit very long but so far it shown to be a very good purchase. One drawback, the cook light is too dim.

Excellent Microwave, cooks fast and quietly.. .... The over the range light could be brighter, have not looked to see what socket it is so I could possibly swap in a brighter bulb...

The microwave looks and works great. My only concern or complaint would be that the fan doesn't really eliminate any smoke, such as frying something on the stove, like we were told. Before installing this over the range unit we had a hood with exhaust grab that did a good job of eliminating any smoke. When I contacted Best Buy they told me the exhaust on the microwave was designed to eliminate odors but not any type of smoke or vapors. I tried to explain to the person how stupid that sounded since any smells were in and part of the smoke from frying something and couldn't be separate but they stuck to their answer.

Easy to install Great for the price. Not many options on the defrost button. Door was warped, but Samsung had it fixed quickly and painlessly.

Overall we are happy with the microwave. We have had a couple of occasions where the turn table doesn't seem to be working. I think the tray just gets pinned because if you spin it and then start the microwave it works again. I do think the 2.0 cu feet feels small even though I think it will fit everything we would want to put into it. We have the microwave vented outside the house, the fan either doesn't vent well or is restricted because of the way its piped outside. We got this for an excellent price and had BBY do the install. Overall very happy with the price and install.

I love the black stainless, looks sleek. I have not had any problems with this item, heats up things quickly and evenly.

We are so happy with our new stainless steel microwave. Cook food really fast and cleaning it its really easy. I just wish we had this sooner.

This microwave has a great look and a solid feel. The only downside is there are no fast cook buttons for 1, 2, or 3 minute cooking. Very minor issue

This microwave has several bad features, there are better choices. 1. The display looks great under dim lighting. In a normally lit kitchen it is so dim that it is difficult to read. 2. The display is deeply recessed so one has to look at it head on. When the microwave is mounted at the standard height above a range anyone shorter than about 5 ft 6 in will not be able to see it unless they step back from the range. 3. Many of our friends and other family members also have over the range microwaves. The vent fan in this model is by far the loudest. Also, beware of the short Best Buy return window. We bought the microwave as part of a kitchen remodel project. By the time it was installed, and the power restored, the return window had passed. The window is really too short for appliances that aren't just 'plug and play'. Won't be buying anything we cannot immediately use from Best Buy in the future. Plenty of other stores have the same price and more generous return policies.

Had to buy a new microwave and this was an excellent pick. Love the no fingerprint figure and was very easy to use.

It has done everything we have asked it to do. Love the color. Easy to use. Economy setting causes the clock to not be displayed but the stove below it has a clock so it's not a big deal.

Microwave is extremely nice and I love that it matches my stove. My only slight issue is that the inside light could be a little brighter.

My Frigidaire microwave died after 2 yrs of regular use. I was looking for something that would go with my LG Stainless Steel refrigerator in the kitchen area. This one is bigger better and looks good.

Nice looking over the range microwave that operates easily. I don't like that you cannot see inside while it is in operation. Sometimes things boil over and there is no way to see this.

Exactly what was needed when our old GE needed to be replaced. Looks great and hoping to add matching appliances when needed.

This is a great microwave. It looks great cooks great very easy to clean inside & outside. Being able to wipe off fingerprints on stainless steel this easy is wonderful. The inside is quite big.

Easy to install with 2 people. Performance is better than expected. Fan capacity is excellent and was what we needed.

This is nice looking ss microwave. It was easy to install and it is easy to operate. We have not had an LG before but would consider another LG appliance based on this.
