I chose this microwave because it’s roughly the same cubic ft. and has almost the same features. The extend a vent is really just a cool feature but doesn’t work any better than this microwave’s vent feature. This microwave is quiet, has 2 levels, and works great so far.

Wish it had a way to adjust the volume on the beep sound it is louder than we would like. Also if you open the door during any of the sensor-cook cycles you need to reenter the cycle to continue, would be more convenient to just push start to resume the cycle. Also, shortly after it was installed it seemed to lock up. We needed to unplug the unit and that seemed to reset it. Overall like the oven so far.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the LG LMV2031SS in December 2020 and the microwave was great. However, this week (4/2/2022, less than 16 months of use) the control panel section on the front of microwave has come loose. I’ve called LG customer service and they believe a screw that holds the panel in place came loose. The bugaboo is, the screw isn’t accessible without disassembling the microwave, which should only be done by a microwave service center. And, since it’s 4 months past the warranty LG won’t fix it. I’ve yet to call a service center to get an estimate, but you can imagine it will be at least $200 to fix. While the microwave is still working for the time being, I anticipate running into more problems in the future due to the apparent lack of quality and long term durability. In the attached photos you can see on the top-right corner the amount of movement there is in the panel with the screw missing. It wiggles/moves about 1/4” every time a button is pushed on the control panel. Unbelievably annoying and very very frustrating for this to happen with an essentially new microwave.
