I just had my thiird LG over the range microweave in 6 years installed. For the first one, I did not purchase an extended service plan. It failed just after the factory warranty expired. LG offered no help. Rather than pay for a service call, I just replaced it with an identical one. This time I bought a five year extended service plan. It failed just like the first one soon after the factory warranty expired. It was repaired under the service plan. At about 4 years old, it no longer heated anything. The service plan gave me an allowance towards a new one. I bought another LG hoping to use the same mounting holes in my cabinet. It needed different holes. I had it installed by Best Buy and because LG micorwave ovens have proved so unreliable, I again purchased a 5 year service plan. Based on past experience, I expect that I will need it. The newer oven seems to work well. It lacks the nice custom cook setting that the older oven had so for a common item that I warm up I now have to press 4 buttons rather than one (a minor inconvenience) The smartphone app lets you select cook time and power level, but there is no function to actually start the oven, What's the point of having the phone app if you still need to walk up to the oven to start it????? Based upon experience with two prior LG microwave ovens, I expect that this one will fail at about 14 moneths old.

went to BB to match my other new appliances. 5 Stars for having exactly what I wanted! Functions are easy, seems to heat food faster than my old one with same power rating, and has an energy saver button that turns off the clock face so it actually is off and not sucking power via the clock.

We love the black stainless steel look and easy to use.

I love the sleek look. It took me awhile to get used to not having the handle on the front, it looks so much better without it. I’m very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it.

Great Microwave. Works well and beeping at the end of a function is not annoying. Did not realize there was another version for about $30 or $50 more with stainless steel fingerprint free. But this one is easy to clean. I thought this LG microwave was the best bang for the buck.

The LG microwave is awesome. It heats stuff up great. My wife's neck warmer and never been so soothing (don't tell her I used it!). And my warmed up leftovers taste like they were warmed up by a 5 star chef! I can't wait to cook Thanksgiving dinner in this bad boy!

The microve works very well. It looks great too! The only complaint I have is the fingerprints that stay after each use. Its nothing a little Windex cant fix.

Easy to use and works great. It has most if not all features such as defrosts frozen food; pops popcorn; timer, etc.. The only drawback for me with this microwave is that the microwave’s inside does not light up when it is on like my old one did.

Fits nicely above our cooktop. Very quiet fans compared to the 17 year old GE microwave it replaced. Lots of options. Just wish the sensor heat options didn't require memorizing the codes depending on the dish, or having a reference page nearby. Would definitely recommend overall!

Bought this for a replacement that died after 10- years. So far so good. Installation was easy, and looks great. Only complaint is that the exhaust filters are typical of most microwaves, and will be pretty useless due to the lack of filtration material,but dosen't impact the overall microwave.

We purchased the display model. It was the last of this model and vintage at the store. The LG is working well for us (so far). It has a nice set of features and the larger capacity is a good upgrade for us. It replaces a 20-plus year old Toshiba. It is doubtful the LG will last that long but if it functions half as long we'll be very happy.

Looks great above the new range, all the different heating, reheating, defrosting, and all other options are great!
