After 2.5 years the unit stopped heating for no reason (usually the magnetron). The magenetron has a 10 year warranty but LG will not honor it unless their technician visits for a flat rate of $370 WHICH IS MORE THAN THE MICROWAVE COSTS. unbelievable that Best Buy would sell such a piece of junk

When a microwave runs but does not heat, one helpful step you can try is performing a power reset. Unplug the unit for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in to allow the internal safety switches and control board to reinitialize. Decent microwave

This one is fine and we don't use the micro that much anyway. My only gripe is the black shows on the sides a little but that could be my cabinets too.

Good variety of speeds / brightness. I love the 30 second button. The popcorn button works perfect. Very few unpopped kernels. Not burnt at all.

Only complaint so far is the light over the range is much dimmer than our last one. Could definitely stand a brighter light.

Reason for low rating is the outrageous installation cost even though we have total tech. This used to be a great benefit but it’s been “dumbed down “ so much it’s worthless. Will be canceling.

It is really quite attractive in black stainless and works like you would expect a microwave to work. We like the 30 second feature. Our old microwave did not have this. Perfect for warming up your coffee. The touch pads to select a feature are nearly impossible to see unless the kitchen lights are on. So we hit the wrong pad frequently. Perhaps LG could do something about this. But we love the microwave and the look.

Not only is the exterior sleek stainless steel but it is space saving, easy to clean, and has great pre-programmed options widely used in everyday cooking and baking.

We wanted the black stainless steel but when we saw the price of the filler panels (about the price of the microwave itself!) We decided to go with the stainless steel because we could use our existing panels from the old microwave. LG needs to think about lower the price. It was ridiculous to pay as much for black stainless steel panels & the price of the microwave!
