Beautiful microwave with a lot of nice features. Too bad the installer did not seal the vent for the fan. Nothing like blowing the smoke and grease back at the cooktop.

We've had this microwave for a couple of months and have had no issues with it. It works great, it's pretty quiet. The fan is loud which most of them are nowadays. It's pretty easy to clean. I wish it was fingerprint resistant like the LG fridge we have.

Matches my new LG refrigerator. Lots of features without being complicated.

I bought this microwave in Jan 2025. In August 2025 it stopped working (keep in mind I am not a heavy duty user of this microwave. I only use the basic time setting to reheat food. I'm not using all the bells and whistles and not doing anything complicated with it). It would turn on but not heat the food. It was still under the one year warranty. I contacted customer service and they sent someone to fix it - they replaced the magnatron. Great. Three weeks later, it breaks again. I called customer service and had to spend another hour troubleshooting with them even though I knew what the problem was (the magnatron - same problem as before). They then told me I needed to get it repaired again, which I already knew, but fine. The representative put me through to someone else and the call was dropped. I then sent an email through the "Office of the President" via LGs website, and someone got in touch with me next day - great. They set me up with ANOTHER repairman, and someone came a week and a half later and fixed it again (it was the same thing - the magnatron). Two days later IT BROKE AGAIN. The same issue! I contacted them again and said I just wanted a refund. They said they couldn't refund or replace unless a tech said it's unrepairable. They said they'd find a tech and it would take 3-5 business days. Here I am, two weeks later and I still haven't heard back! This is from the "Presidential Liason's Office"! I've texted them back twice on the same text string we've used before and they've basically ghosted me at this point. So, if you think a warranty from LG means anything, think again! If you think they'll stand behind their product, they clearly don't. They sold me a lemon, made me jump through hoops to get anything done at all, and then just stopped responding. I still have two months left on my warranty and at this point they've probably spent more on parts and repair than they would have on a dang replacement, which I asked for from the beginning. Personally, I will never, ever buy any product from LG again, and I have to replace my fridge and washer/dryer in the next couple of years. Terrible customer service, meaningless warranty and overall bad company. AVOID

As a skeptic of Any brand aside from GE I was hesitant to purchase this microwave, However it matched the space I had to fill perfectly. and it was the perfect size for my kitchen. I like that it had a Hood for the range, an oven and microwave all in one. I really like the 30 sec add feature and it takes less time to Heat up food than a normal microwave and the food actually tastes better than using my traditional GE. The downside is that it asked you (under defrost) what type of meat you are defrosting and it wont let you put in the exact weight of the item according to the package. Also anything over 1 lb will cook if you leave it in the packaging from solid frozen. I would also say do not Use on Deep Freeze Meats. allow them to defrost for 1 hour before use. otherwise your gonna have a bad time with that meat. I was also impressed that it did not Keep the Smell of popcorn in it, since it has the Venting from the hood that is sucked right out through your external venting. (if you use it) Super cool

This was a replacement due to my wife cooking for 19 minutes with nothing inside…….. anyway we looked at reviews from Consumer Reports and LG had great marks. We’re very satisfied with the microwave; it’s easy to use, looks good, and gets the job done.

Actual product is amazing…love how it looks, works, everything. Highly recommend the product! Scheduling delivery was a nightmare (actually installers were great though).

Since I needed an over-the-range microwave to replace the one we had that died, features other than just cooking were important. In particular the quality of the fan was something I looked for, and this microwave definitely has a nice strong fan. The microwaving itself seems fine; I am not a super-heavy microwave user. There are a number of annoying features, though, that make me not recommend this particular microwave: - The fan is very loud - The window in the door is very small, so that I can't see food in the microwave unless I'm standing on a stepstool -- and I am average height for a woman - The interior light is dim, so unless I get up close and peer in, I can't see if the microwave is on - The display is situated in such a way that if I am cooking at the stove the bottom part of the microwave display is blocked by the panel itself; if I were several inches taller this would not be the case - The manual says not to use "stoneware" in the microwave. Is this standard? A huge fraction of dinnerware sold is stoneware, I would guess. - The clock does not stay visible. Why? If you use the microwave in any way, the display comes on, but will turn off 5 minutes after you're done using it. There is nothing you can do about this (there's a special insert in the manual saying this, so I must not be the only who wondered). If this is an energy-saving feature it's ridiculous, as it would only save a miniscule amount of energy.

Microwave works great. More functions than I'll ever use, but easy to figure out. My only complaint is the oversized door. It looks great but makes it much more difficult to get things in and out. Not recommended for tight spaces. I have an island counter in front of the oven and have to stand off to the side or do the limbo to open it.

We purchased this microwave to replace one that was continually tripping circuit breaker. Clean black color matches our Black Stainless appliances. provides a good size for cooking.

I haven't had this microwave very long, so I can't speak to its durability, but I really like its sleek style and solid performance. It has everything that you would want in an over the range microwave and eliminates one that I didn't — a handle! This doesn't aesthetically clash with my other appliances, which is unique in its category.

Unit matches other LG appliances, works well, quiet , cleans easily, installation fairly simple — biggest problem was aligning mounting holes on top of unit with holes drilled in base of overhead cabinet, minor confusion with installation instructions regarding repositioning of exhaust fan unit. Over-all, we are quite satisfied with unit.

We love this microwave! Looks great, functions well, easy to use, and cooks our food to perfection! The entire purchase and installation process at Best Buy went extremely smoothly and well. This is a solid microwave and one of the best for the price. It's roomy and spacious and can hold plenty of food when cooking. I will always choose Best Buy for my appliance needs!

I bought this LG microwave to replace a S…..ng microwave that stopped working in 6 months. The LG is a much better product and is so easy to use. Everything cooks perfectly. I bought it at Best Buy and arrived to pick it up in the middle of a flash flood that started the minute I drove up. This was not a problem for Best Buy. The nice man rolled it out to my truck completely wrapped against the rain and loaded it up with a big smile. Gotta love that kind of service. Thus is my store forever and LG is my first choice in kitchen appliances.
