Lightning fried previous mircrowave circuit board so replacement was needed. Checked around but Best Buy was just that. Lower price on value priced microwave with decent features in a nice stainless steel finish. Plus, lowest install price as well. Other than waiting for shipping, no complaints. LG makes a nice microwave.

Upgraded all my appliances to LG stainless. Microwave is perfect size and is quiet. Has turntable and rack. I really like the energy saving display that turns off if not in use after 5 minutes. Takes two people to install but didn't have any issues.

Easy to use with so many options! The inside the door summary of "how to" is a great aid so you don't have to constantly be referring to the manual. It looks great too!

Ok... not only does this microwave look SUPER COOL, but works perfectly. Love the presets and is very easy to work. Zero complaints.

The LG 2.0 cu. ft. over-the-range microwave is a stylish and dependable upgrade that blends convenience with performance. I really enjoy how it simplifies everyday cooking with features like Sensor Cooking, the EasyClean interior, and smart ThinQ app connectivity. The QuietPower vent keeps things peaceful while maintaining strong ventilation—perfect for a busy kitchen. I had it professionally installed, which went smoothly and made setup hassle-free. While I wish the interior light was a bit brighter, overall it’s been a great addition—especially alongside my other LG appliances.

Function: We've only had up a couple weeks, but works great thus far. We like that it's relatively simple and straightforward unlike most appliances today. The eco-light is nice so there aren't so many lights on after dark. I'm not crazy about the light underneath--its rather dark and could be better. Installation: We installed an exterior vent for this ourselves, and our recommendation to the manufacturer is 1. print the instructions on two separate pieces of paper (vs. front/back) so that one can cut out without damaging the other side and 2. Provide the retailers with copies of the templates or put online to print out. We could have used a copy of the template prior to purchasing to make sure we had enough clearance for the vent relative to some items on the outside of the house.

Although the LG microwave I purchased was Consumer Report's highest rated microwave I had no idea that it was so powerful that it required a dedicated circuit breaker to be safely installed! Who would ever ask about the number of amps a microwave pulls?

Not much can be said about microwaves unless you get top of the line, which this isn't. Does it cook and heat perfectly? YES. Is it acceptably quiet? Yes. Is it easy to use? Yes. Would I buy it again? Absolutely! Does it Look good? Yes. So it does everything I asked for.

Nice appearance and easy to use. Light not that bright even on the high setting. Metal surface inside of microwave under turntable plate gets extremely hot with just light on high. Too hot for touch!!!

Had an older built in microwave, it finally stopped working. So I did some research on LG because we have been replacing our older appliances with LG. Well once again we got it right. We have had it for over a month and it’s fantastic, through the lg app we even have to exhaust fan synced with the lg range top. The ease of use is great the cooking menu has so many features I can’t say enough!!

nice appearance, solid frame & door feel, so far no issues with uneven turntable. On the flip side the keypad is not as touch friendly as our previously similar priced GE model - need to press keys a bit to activate. Also we miss the one touch start (eg: press 1 to start at 100% for 1 minute) - perhaps there is some way to configure this - but GE was set up this way out of the box. Install was OK, but would be helpful to provide one sheet template for each surface as opposed to using both sides of one sheet to cover 2 surfaces. Maybe not an LG issue, but holes (top and back were too close to the previous GE holes) - so either standardize hole locations in the industry - or don't put your brand's holes within millimeters of your competitors. So maybe LG (a follower) could have done better on that front. We are satisfied, but NOT a perfect score

Bought this for my parents. They love it. Looks good with other LG appliance. The touch buttons feels clean and good quality compare to some other brands plastic cover buttons. Easy to use and clean.

3.5 stars Despite having only 95% of the power of my previous microwave, I’ve seen this burn multiple wet dishes (including pulled pork, pulled chicken, and cheese sauce) with normal cook times when the rest of the dish wasn’t nearly as hot. I’ve also experienced cold spots when heating frozen food. The burns have always been very localized, suggesting hot spots. I didn’t think it was possible to fail at microwave UI, but somehow this unit has achieved it. Pressing the face buttons sets the microwave to go for that many minutes. To enter a time that isn’t a round minute or that plus 30 seconds (there’s a dedicated button to add thirty) one must press a “Cook time” button, then input a number, and then open the door, close it and press start. I have no idea how a microwave being actively unable to handle the idea that a user puts food in before setting the microwave’s time ever got through testing. What possible purpose could making the microwave reject the command to start until the door has been cycled serve except annoyance? When ending a (non-cook) timer one must press the timer button again to stop the beeping. Pressing “cancel” (even if no food is cooking) will stop the alarm, but only long enough to fully play the confirmation beep but the timer then resumes until the timer button is pressed. I genuinely had no idea it was possible to simultaneously have the system power to make something wi-fi enabled and only have a single sound channel. I fully expected that the microwave that I bought so many years after my last one would be a better product but it is not. I am disappointed.

This over-the-range microwave is just right for our needs. It looks great and has worked perfectly this first four weeks of ownership. It has plenty of useful settings; but, not so many that it would feel more like programming the space shuttle rather than just heating up a frozen dinner.
