Bought this model as a replacement for a Samsung microwave (which worked fine, just replacing everything with LG because of some issues with other Samsung appliances, like the fridge that kept icing up inside). Rotating the blower fan 90 degrees to face front (under the cabinet venting/no separate exhaust duct) was easy to do. Your cabinet width definitely needs to be 30 inches. 29 and 7/8ths is close, but no cigar (had to shave off a strip of paneling on one side and then stain it, but the microwave covers almost all of that handiwork). Kind of hard to see inside since there is a black/dark panel covering the bottom 3 inches or so, and that's around eye level (6ft height), but no biggie. If doing a self-install, be careful to not pop the control panel up and off while lifting (Home Depot clown show did that and had to get a new one of these and went with BestBuy, who delivered a new one two days later while HD had a several weeks back order status, and did a self install vs paying for that service). Test the two mounting bolts for easy threading before doing that in the air/holding it up.

Looks great, easy to use and clean. I feel like it takes food a little longer to heat up compared to my old model.

This is a pretty nice microwave. The presets work well, especially on ice cream. One drawback is you can barely see inside while it is cooking. I like to see if the food is cooking too fast or too much but that’s hard to do in this oven.

Huge size fits larger dishes, yet doesnt take up more space in the kitchen. Make sure to adjust your vent fan depending on if you vent inside or outside with the exhaust. Overall, an easy install compared to older models.

Nothing special and nothing bad. It's a good microwave with a decent size. Looks nice. The buttons smudge easy.

We ordered this microwave for a condominium unit and it was kept safely in the box for 2 months before the renovation was complete and it could be installed. It worked twice then failed to heat at all. Power, vent fan, lights, rotating platter all working, but absolutely no heating. Because of the time elapsed between purchase and installation, the return date has expired. Geek Squad came out and replaced the magnetron but that didn't work so a 2nd visit will be required after waiting for more parts to be shipped. The microwave has to be uninstalled every time they service it, and it takes 3 failed repairs before Best Buy will just replace the unit. I called and asked for a new unit and was denied. I called LG at Best Buy's request and they said they cannot issue a return authorization until they send their own technician out to attempt repairs. All this when trying to use the home one weekend out of every couple of months, and the repair team requires someone the unit during repairs. Tricky when we are not there and the only times we can be there are when we are trying to enjoy a little break from work (without a functioning microwave). No new microwave should fail after 2 uses and in my book is a lemon without having to suffer through up to 3 repair visits and months of inability to use the unit. All reps have been friendly and professional, but if this is what "Total Rewards" buys you, the program could be FAR more forgiving on products that fail out of the gates. Just offer a replacement unit---at $300, it's far less expensive than sending a team of 2 technicians 3 times, and unmeasurably more convenient for the customer. Questioning my choice of LG and Best Buy for the first time ever....

Great service from BB with the delivery of this item! The microwave works very well. We had to buy it to replace the previous one that stopped working after 5 years. We have been impressed on how well it heats compared to the old microwave. It is really easy to use and the instructions are very good. There is also a quick user guide inside the microwave which is convenient.

I was looking for the cheapest Over-the-Range microwave with high CFM fan. The smoke alarm kept triggering every so often even with just water boiling, as my previous Whirlpool couldn't keep up with the fan at max. The LG has a great fan, no more smoke alarms. The microwave itself is pretty good. Very quite. Visibility is poor, which might be an issue if you like to check on food as it is being cooked.

All the features are great, replaced a broken microwave and the fit was perfect. Buttons are responsive, inside is extremely easy to clean. I love the over look. Cons: the sounds are horrible, and when you disable them the timer no longer chimes off. The fan is considerably louder than my prior, but it is a lot more powerful so the trade off is noticeable. but I'd rather have a more quiet fan than good ventilation
