    15 days after its warranty expired I got an “insert food” promot and my machine will not work. It would he a “flat rate” of $400 to send a tech out. What? Thats more than the microwave itself!

The “Insert Food” prompt may indicate that the unit is in Demo Mode, which disables heating.     The clock readout is so small and dim, it makes it impossible to tell how much time is left cooking. It also tends to turn off and reset when the vent light is turned off. It shouldn't do that. The overhead vent light indicator is so small and dim, it is almost non-existent and you need to tap it multiple times to turn it off when the light is on 'high', then 'low', then 'off'. Ridiculous to press multiple times. I would hate to have though that I was considering having it installed with it 'venting' externally from the house when the fan capability seems weak and noisy, let alone it might have gotten grease passing the filter and stuck in the venting tubing.

    The rack is smack dab in the middle of the oven and I have to take it out every time to warm anything other than a plate. I should have looked at that before purchase as it is irritating There is no way to alter height either.

    First one melted my plastic cover because I turned on the oven. Can you believe it? Haven't turned on the oven yet so I am still waiting to see what will happen when I do. Best Buy replaced it right away.

    Good value for the money. Seemed to us one had to press rather hard to program cook time. After a week of use we exchanged for a nicer LG unit, one that comes with a slide out vent. Costs another $100 but we feel its well worth the extra expense.

    This was a replacement for same brand and style but older microwave. Big disappointment. Doesn't have a "keep warm" feature. The metal is so thin that when you use the nightlight feature the turntable inside gets very hot. Waiting for service to check it out.

    its a nice microwave but i do feel like the fan makes a whole lot of noise. even under the low setting. aside from the fan its a very nice microwave, and i love the sensor cooking feature.

    DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy this microwave!!! Within the first month there was condensation dripping between the "glass" in the door that never went away and every time I boiled water condensation would get behind the control panel where the clock is and fog it up so much that I couldn't see the lit up numbers. Flash forward to tonight, I was boiling water on the stove when all of a sudden out of nowhere there was a BANG, then sparks, smokes and FLAMES coming from behind the control panel up through the vents on the top. The microwave wasn't even turned ON!!!! My husband immediately unplugged it and use a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. If I had not been in the kitchen when this happened, our house would have burned to the ground. This microwave is 17 months old, absolutely pitiful and horrifying. I replaced all of my appliances with LG when we remodeled the kitchen and the previous microwave(Kenmore) was over 20 years old. When I called LG they said "sorry, it only has a 12 month warranty and we've never heard of our units catching fire". I am FUMING mad!! Reading through the Reviews of this microwave it is CLEAR they have had a problem with condensation accumulating behind the control panel for YEARS. I cannot believe that one of the biggest corporations in the world didn't even offer a discount towards a new model. I don't give a flying flip if the warranty is only for 12 months, it should NOT go up in flames EVER, let alone after 17 months. I am so angry right now I cannot even think. My GOD, what if this happened in the middle of the night while we were sleeping????????????????????????????????????? I"M SO MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    looks good, and works good, buttons are hard to push, and lights are horrable, why something this expensive cant have LED lights?

    The exterior light was very dim even on high and the design team off-set it to the left instead of in the center. The bulb was a halogen and got extremely hot. The heat was so warm it heated up the interior of the microwave. We also wanted a keep warm feature which we thought it had but when delivered did not. Long story short I would not recommend this model to other people. We are getting a replacement. Best Buy has been wonderful to work with. You have the purchase date of June 4th but we purchased it on May 15th.

    We had a Kenmore. This LG takes longer to heat food of water. It only reminds you one time when the food is ready. The Kenmore reminded you at least 4 times when your food was ready.

    Not a smart microwave and does not do scan-to-cook

    Dispite the description of features, this unit does not support scan to cook nor does it work with alexa, google, bixby, siri, or any others. When I got it, the front panel number buttons didn't work at all.
