Microwave doesnt need high spec review. Altoigh this was revimmended From consumer reports as a good buy. Only con is hard to see inside comoared to one replaced.

Bought this microwave July of 2019. Eight months later the thing craps out. Loud noise coming from inside microwave behind where keypad is. Had to go with LG to get service. Received text from a repair company called A&E. Did a check on them. Seems they are completely horrible with service calls. Guy is supposed to come April 7th to fix. Not looking forward to this. Stay away from LG on any of their appliances. Their saying LIFE IS GOOD, only applies to them and not to their customers. Buyer beware.

The unit makes a loud growling sound when running. Timer beeps a few times then quits. Cannot program and save a multi-step process. But it does cook evenly and looks nice. 1-button for popcorn works great.

We bought this for our son. His complaint was the viewing window is only half of the door glass. So visibility of your items cooking is not real good.

After purchasing the product we immediately started to have problems with the fan, noise, and light bulb. I called Best Buy and they said "Sorry, we can't help you, call LG" --- LG repairman has been out 3 times and told us the model should have had metal parts instead of plastic. Given ;your reply to me right after I purchased the product I will never return to your store nor will my company purchase from the Greenwood IN location.

Nice and big. Like the removable shelf. Don't care for the glass door. Not able to see the food cooking. Overall average microwave.

The microwave does the job seamlessly, but there are issues with the exterior. The clock/timer appearance is not bright enough, and there’s no quick start buttons.

The light is not bright enough. On certain foods that in the freezer, it takes longer to heat than what the directions on the box say.

The soft megal flapper that opens and close very thin, when it gets windy in the area, flapper/damper bounces back and forth, annoying noise if u arevwatching a movie or everything is silence.

I made some popcorn and I can’t get the smell out of the microwave. It’s coming from the inside wear their is a hard to reach filter

Not a horrible microwave, but def. not the best. Came as part of the bundle otherwise I would have picked something better

This ,Microwave is average at best. The display Light is way too dim and there is no way to adjust it. Not the most intuitive either.

It works, it looks good, but it's super frustrating that I can't see inside. The window is small, set too high and tinted too much.

We bought an entire LG kitchen for Christmas 2016. By August, small plastic bits began to break off the microwave. We did not abuse it, just normal wear, and it was crumbling. The plastic vent cover shattered into small pieces, the plastic on the inside of the door which held the handle in, the trim is falling off, and the upper plastic. It’s unbelievable. We contacted LG and were told they would not cover it due to physical damage. When we asked what physical damage, they changed their tune and said they wouldn’t cover it because it’s cosmetic. Worst part? The replacement parts cost more than the entire microwave brand new. This product is garbage. Thank you for reading.

This microwave gets the job done, cooks fast, has good features.. cons: the controls are a little cumbersome, and when cooking the microwave could be a little quieter.

This microwave is slightly better than my last microwave oven of 2 years ago. The buttons are hard to press. The window is tinted so much you cannot see your plate cook.

Worked just fine and was easy to clean for exactly 1 year and a day. Made a baked potato in it and after it finished that, it made a loud pop and now does not cook anything. Called for warranty, but it was out of the period by 1 day according to the receipt and LG will not allow even that little of a grace period. Byer beware of all LG products.

Just so this happens to know one else... I have a unique kitchen where the stove is against a wall, and so the over-the-range microwave needs to go against the wall. Although the opening fits a 30" width microwave...the door needs an extra two inches to open 90 degrees. The makers assume that everyone has a cabinet on both sides of the microwave...not necessarily so. I wish they would make a microwave that can have a reversible door. But until then...another brand I gave to buy. Too bad...it looks nice.

I'm short and could not read the message window unless I walked about 5 or 6 feet away from the microwave. It's probably fine for an average or tall person. It performed just fine.

Stopped working shortly after installation. Repaired under warrantee. Works fine now. Interior light is not bright enough. Controls are good.
