Don't waste your money or time

I rarely used it, only for melting butter, chocolate for baking, reheating coffee and making popcorn. Over the past few months, the electric switch on the panel started flipping and the microwave turned itself off. I called in two different electricians to look and the panel and they both told me it was the microwave. I had a microwave repair service over and was told the magnatron was bad. Imagine my surprise for an appliance that got minimal use and was less than 18 months old. NO more LG's for me!!!

It is Broken already

Third Party installer

If you want a low power microwave this is it

A microwave under $100 performs better. Sensor setting don’t work well. Standard heating instructions for different food or drinks is never enough. It always requires additional time for something to be hot. It lacks power and accuracy. We previously had a Ge spacemaker 1800 xl which was much better. The install was also non existent. A lot of pain to install something that has lack luster performance. The only upside is it looks nice.

Avoid, poor build quality

We do daily cooking and this thing died in 1.5 yrs...what a waste. Had best buy protection for only a year...should have kept it longer.

No LG

After 1 year and 6 months the microwave stopped working, then 2 months after that the dishwasher stopped working. I can only hope the range is not next. LG wouldn’t do anything about it. It is going to be over $600 dollars to fix both. DO NOT BUY LG!!!!’

Either bad product or bad installation

The first time Best Buy installed it, it stopped working after one week, likely because the installers used too long of a bolt to secure it on top. They re-installed a replacement, and now that one is making very unusual sounds from the top in the same area where the long bolt seemed to have cause problems before.

Terrible

The delivery team has rescheduled the date several times without my consent or input. For example, it was supposed to be installed tomorrow, 12/2. I got a confirmation yesterday AM. In the PM, I was notified it would be installed on 12/5. I bought a dishwasher also. Last purchsaes I will make at BestBuy.

Not good quality

Sparking of Electricity coming from unit.

LG came out twice saw the sparking. They cannot fix the issue. LG said they will replace it, over 5 months. Stacie George keeps pushing us around. If I use this unit it can burn my house down, I have a gas range under.
