    Front the ease of ordering to the pickup, and then the installation, I was rewarded at the end for the best microwave and purchase experience ever!!! This is a very sleek, high powered multi-function microwave!!! Love it!!!!!

    I love the sleek look of the LG microwave. One thing that bothers me is that the stove light undetnath seems to make the glass plate very very warm. Otherwise, the microwave works well!

    LG OTR Microwave

    Works fairly well, however heat and steam from the microwave is directed to the front of the unit and collects on the cabinets above the microwave. Paint is already beginning to peal and blister. Appears to be a common complaint, unfortunately I wasn’t aware of it at the time of purchase.

    Do Not Waste Your Time with this Hunk of Junk

    Don't waste your time! The unit looks very sleek above the range but that is where it stops. After about 6 months, the microwave did not heat as well. About a week later, the buttons did not function. The color between the digits of the clock were the only light or electricity out of the unit. I called LG who sent in a local tech. He arrived yesterday. Without my permission, he opened my cabinets to get a glass of water and attempted to press the buttons to test the micro, Nothing worked. He then plugged in the micro to the outlet on the splash. He then told me the issue was that the receptacle in the cabinet over the range was defective. It was my fault because the outlet did not work. He thought I was some idiot old lady housewife. It just so happened was in the bedroom resting from a morning surgical procedure. I asked him to talk to the tech. My husband is a general contractor and new home builder so he has dealt with lots of appliances before. When he came in the kitchen, the tech told him the recepticle was defective and it was our fault. So husband asks if it is our outlet issue, why are the colon dots between the time area let up. So like the outlet works for just those dots but not anything else? Guy was miffed but told us he would order a new door and be back in a week. Another week without a microwave? This LG micro is a hunk of junk.

    Don’t buy this microwave.

    Broke less than 20 hours after installation. None of the buttons on the door work. Three weeks after calling LG support I still do not have a working microwave. Have been getting inconsistent messages about getting this resolved. The door is on back order. Based on my experience, the experience of an acquaintance with an LG over the range microwave with door button issues, and the back order status of the door, it makes me question the reliability of this product. Would have given zero stars but the system does not let me.

    Don’t waste your money

    Even the cheapest microwave would last longer than LG. Don’t waste your money. Mine stopped heating after 2years. Reached out to LG, they said that the warranty is expired and I have to pay for someone to come over to take a look at it. Poor customer service. So, I got rid of it and purchased another brand. Never going back to LG. I’m worried about the rest of my LG appliances.

    Poor Quality

    The microwave was installed on 02/22. The clock has started freezing. Sometimes the time display is stuck, sometimes the cook time is set. I am very disappointed.

    Door too big

    Sounded like a spaceship was taking off whenever we used it. It was an open vox which might explain it. Also gave my self a black eye in the dark opening the giant door.
