With it being placed in a large living room, the bass and sound doesn't bounce off the walls like it would in smaller quarters.

It only takes optical in, so I needed to buy an ADC to convert a 3.5mm jack into Toslink and then I had to buy a Toslink to traditional optical cable, because my projector only has 3.5mm out. If I hadn't gotten this at nearly half it's original price it would've been a return for me but it was still financially worth it in my case to run all the conversion wiring still (but it was still an extra $40!).

This is just a speaker for the tv in my opinion! Works well but it is not an extraordinary device.
