I am so glad I read all the reviews for the sound bars I was considering on order to make the right choice between the Samsung & LG sound bars. I am so glad i chose the LG over the Samsung, This was such a great buy and I am so happy with the sound quality (considering the speaker size & limitations sound bars have). I have a full Bose Dolby surround sound home theater system, that makes you duck when a bullet whizzes by on the screen so I know what quality sound system sounds like. This sound bar of course doesn't compare to that and you shouldn't compare apples to oranges as they say. This little sound system has good punch on the bass, but unfortunately it's the mid range that is lacking when set to surround sound mode which sounds muffled. I set it on regular mode and adjusted each speaker until they balanced and sounded clear. I am very happy with this system. It is easy to set up and because it has Bluetooth connection to the bass you Don't have to fuss with wires. The Samsung bar, which had fairly good reviews, the negatives for that one was the construction quality. This is why I prefer to buy in store, because seeing, hearing and touching the product before purchasing is so important to helping to make the right purchase! It is true the Samsung bar was built in cheap quality and the sound did not match the LG's. The LG is built solid much like my Bose with no cloth covering that will tear. If you are looking for a sound bar system with good quality all around I highly recommend this one.

We were happy to purchase this soundbar to go with our LG 55 TV however shortly after connecting it our tv started to act up and we've only had the tv for less than 2 years. Our tv didn't want to connect to the internet via wifi so we had to hardwire it. Shortly after we were watching tv and all of a sudden one of our neighbors was able to pair to the device and cut our movie off with their music. We've tried to reset it and everything as the manual online says to, but they are still able to because it happened again a few days later. For the price, we paid for both products for this to keep happening it's ridiculous, plus we passed the day we can actually return the soundbar so we're stuck with it until we can sell it. On another note, it comes with bare minimum instructions and information as to what all the functions mean so you literally have to look everything up on the internet. Used to love LG, but dealing with these issues is becoming troublesome. Who knows if they access it while we're not home and it seems as if we are the ones blasting the music! The crazy part is after experiencing this problem and trying to look for a fix, I've noticed people have complained about the same issue before from previous models, but LG has yet to fix the issue. So I'd recommend doing research on the different ones out there and possibly seeing if they have any that requires a pin to connect so other random people cant connect. Again DONT BUY!!!

This is a great sound bar. It provides great sound and was easy to set up. It was at a good price as well for the quality of sound you get.

This item came with a wall mount and optical cable. The last sound bar I purchased from Samsung a few years ago I had to buy these items. They’re not very expensive but it is an extra cost and hassle I’m glad this came all ready to go. Had it up and running within 30 min. Connection was a breeze, the hardest part was the wall mounting it but over all super easy and straight forward. Also price range was perfect. I just wanted a little bit of bass and surround sound for my garage gym and TV. Definitely recommend!

Very good sound bar and woofer. I like the fact that one can adjust the sound mixing with a single button. It has reasonable power and is good for a rec room, but I would purchase one with greater wattage for a family room. It is definitely far superior to the Philips 30 watt system I returned and is the same price. You get 10 times the power for the same price.

I got this on a cyber monday deal and gotta day, I love LG but this soundbar is more than just great, it is great sound, and truly enhances the movie viewing experience at home. It has a surround sound effect not sure how but it works like a charm. It is easy to setup and it is simple to use. I watched the new Venom movie using this sound bar and I could not believe the experience! It is totally worth it and for less than $150!

If you're trying to get peak volume once you turn it on, then look elsewhere. I would say for those who wants a decent subwoofer/speaker, this it is. I feel like the more I hear it, the better it sounds. set up is a bit weird because I feel like it learns as I use it. ex. the first couple of times using it, I had to turn it on individually now it turns on automatically when I turn on the tv.

Lightweight and easy to use 2 channel soundboard system. Does not require more than 5 minutes to set up. Small sized remote control. Volume between television and soundbar system can be interlinked. Works better with four more speakers like i have at home. If you have extra money though try and get the 5 channel soundbar speakers. You will notice the difference.

Greatly priced, easy to set up, great sound, and when at the store it was accessible to all guest! Highly recommend.

This in an honest review. No reason this product shouldn’t have 5 stars. I have went through 3 different sound bars and none of them held a candle to this one. It’s very easy to set up. Sound is incredible..I mean super crisp, great bass and treble. I’m glad I purchased it. Wife gets a bit mad when I play call of duty and it sounds like a war in Iraq in the house but she will get over it. No more reading just buy it!

Great sound! Bought in conjunction with LG Nanocell TV. I ran my optical through a wall outlet to TV to avoid cords. Optical that comes with it is great but may not be insulated or long enough to run through conduit I have not yet figured out how to get my TV remote to run the sound bar would be nice if .it did as they are both LG

just got it hooked up yesterday.. along with a couple other things. sounds good and works well with same brand tv. and Dish network. only complaint for me is that it does not turn on with the tv. you have to use its remote to turn it on. other than that. it paired itself with dish and the tv and works great. will really try it out tomorrow nite with ACM awards on tv.. yippeee and Nascar crank it up!

Bought this to replace and interface with and LG television. Had a another sound bar before, always had to switch the use of the remote control between TV and sound bar. Sound out put is good for the sale price. Have heard better output on other systems. However, the interface for ease of use was my main objective.

The sound system is incredible. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there needs to be more ways to hook it up instead of just an audio cable. Also, be aware that if you are ordering this, it comes in the main box showing what it is. I didn't know this and my kids seen it so it ruined their Christmas present.

Almost five stars it sounds great but it’s connectivity has issue’s with anything in between the sub and speaker bar ! Walking in the middle cuts out the sound for a bit to long.

Just purchased this sound bar for a bedroom. Its the perfect size and sound quality for my bedroom. It's nothing amazing if you compare it to Bose or Sonos, but it gets the job done. Especially for the price.

I purchased these expected an okay experience considering it's only 2.1 surround however I was seriously taken away after the initial set up. The jump from regular tv speaker to these made me feel like my bedroom became my new personal home theater. I have to admit if you set this product in a living room, it certainly does not do your movie justice but in the bedroom it will make your bed shake it you had it close enough. Great buy!

This sound system has provided us exceptional sound quality along with our new TV. As most new TVs sacrifice sound quality to increase their flatness, sound systems are virtually a must. This system was very easy to set up and provides excellent sound quality. The wireless subwoofer makes it so you get great bass without having to worry about wear you set up or having cords all over the place.

This is my second LG soundbar purchase, and I'm just as pleased with this purchase as the first. The setup was quick and easy, especially with my LG TV. I decided to purchase the soundbar since it was on sale for black Friday, but I also needed something to supplement the audio coming from the TV since it lacked in delivering the sound we desired. I highly recommend this product for anyone that is in the market for a soundbar.
