Sound was great and when the problem wasn't present, it was exactly what I thought it would be.

For a 'digital immigrant' (not digitally/gadget gifted), I found this product easy to work with. the literature accompanying the sound system was not clear (the reason for my 4 star rating), but common sense is all that is really needed. The sound is good, clear and loud enough to hear over exercise equipment (treadmill, bike trainers, etc.). I ended up purchasing two of them for both of my televisions.
