I bought this for my parents whom are in their 70’s and had a hard time hearing the TV. I had bought a similar SONY 300watt sound bar with wireless subwoofer and love it. This was on sale for around half off for Christmas. I set it up, and my folks like it... but I think it’s because it’s better than what they had. But I’m a bit of an amateur audiophile and the LG seems less than impressive. Not to mention there’s zero instructions on changing the settings for the sound bar, (bass, treble, output, etc...). I’ve been lead to believe LG was quality products but this was actually a letdown. Either people put too much faith in LG and should try better manufacturers, or this was LG’s attempt to take advantage of customers loyalty. I do not recommend this product, I know for a fact there’s much better on the market for the same price. Like SONY

But then I connected my tv to it by way of LG blutooth to a LG TV and it was SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVED. So now we really enjoy watching shows in the second TV room, because the sound levels work with the room size. I'd definitely buy it again.
