Best bang for the buck

Is it what I should have spent my money on???? Still up in the air. I have a refurb Pioneer SP-SB23W that is awesome (old sound bar is old). Probably not a fair comparison but the lg is definitely not as good as the pioneer. Trying to find the right sound mode to watch tv and can't quite get it. Will update if it gets better.

Good sounding soundbar w/ the wireless subwooffer
