Well out performs some of the higher end bars.

Even within the LG family this SB had stronger base and better range clarity than the others. Had a little issue with my first one rattling even at low volume but Best Buy was great about the exchange. If you have an LG TV this syncs up with your TV volume control. Otherwise you are basically guessing (hense the 4/5 review).
