I have been watching TV with my Grandparents and they keep the volume up soo loud just to hear that you can hear the speakers crackle. I bought them this for Christmas and it works great. They asked "well how loud can it go"... I only got it up about halfway before they asked to turn it down. Now it doesn't hold a candle to a dedicated HTS with a head unit and individual speakers, but is is a night and day difference from the speaker output of the television and enough bass to annoy the dog.

For the money you can’t beat this sound bar. There’s a lot of sound and the meds are good as well as the highs and the lows hit hard. Bluetooth connectivity is great as well and it supports Dolby atmos.

Wonderful addition to my new television. Sound is such an improvement over the television speakers, and I love the ability to connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth.

I bought this sound bar for my husband for Christmas. It took all of 2 minutes to set up and has great sound quality. He is super happy with it, and it was a great price!

I have owned this unit since August of 2018 (It's June 2020 at the time of this writing). It took me this long to write the review because I have had an intermittent issue with the product that has never fully been resolved. It is hard to recreate on demand so haven't been able to demonstrate it for the extended warranty I have on the device. USE-CASE: I put it on the main Samsung UHD tv in my family room. It is used for everything from daily news and documentaries, streaming movies and series to watching musical performances. So, this sound bar and subwoofer are used for a range of dialog based sound, background music and sounds, singing with instruments as well as classical/ R&B/ Rock/ etc. music. I am not a gamer so have no experience with that use-case but I would imagine my action movies to have similar sound requirements (explosions, weapons, spoken words, etc.). I have played with the VOICE, CINEMA and STANDARD options on the remote when the intermittent successes and failures. I also have used the woofer Level +/- with intermittent success and failure. Here's the challenge... occasionally the subwoofer gets distorted badly for louder background noise (non-music sounds and music) such as combat scenes in movies/ streamed series where there are also closer spoken parts. So if it's distant explosions and or music in the background the distortion makes it hard to hear the spoken content. I've had to turn off the sound system and restart it which only occasionally helps resolve the issue. Sometimes it works and I can't get it to error again. Sometimes I cycle through the sound setting options as well as the woofer level +/- to address the issue. BOTTOM LINE: It does not always resolve and I have to turn off the sound system and use volume via the TV which irks me greatly. It's not often but often enough that it has delayed this review. Why didn't I return it? Well... it didn't happen right away and it only started happening after the return/ exchange window. Since I couldn't reliably reproduce the issue, I couldn't get the warranty/ replacement to kick in. I couldn't find others online with this issue so I figured it was a "lemon issue" with mine rather than a mainstream problem with this LG 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier. NOW when it works well, which is most of the time, it has amazing range and especially at this price point. It is even better sound than my friend's NEWER and more advanced SAMSUNG which came in at 3x the price (His words not mine). My point? I recommend this unit but pay attention for the issue I describe and exchange it immediately if you have it since it's hard to get it addressed under warranty.

I have been looking for one for awhile. Getting older and a little harder to hear the TV. This one solves that and sounds GREAT. Plus the price was fantastic!!!!

Easy to set up and install for use with my tv and phone. Sounds great! I wish it would turn on automatically when my tv does but that’s the only downside.

Debated between surround sound and the sound bar. Glad I bought the sound bar. Great sound, puts you right into the movie. Took less then 5 minutes to hook up and setup and no running wires all around the house.

I bought that open box sound bar , And i was expecting a good sound Then i found my self has a great sound Very clear and loud And very deep bass It's amazing.

Purchased this item to replace my wired 5 speaker system. Old system was ok but this new LG is great! Amazing sound, easy to set up. Sub woofer is a big plus.

I bought the LG sound bar system to compliment a Epson projector. I was highly impressed with it's sound quality. The on sale price made it an excellent purchase.

I bought it when it was on sale during Black Friday. For the price I paid for it, it is a very good soundbar. Voices are very clear and the subwoofer can produce some really good bass. I haven't heard any distortion yet but I also don't play it very loud since we have a toddler around. I currently have it hooked up to my LG TV and setup LG link so that I can control it using my TV's remote. The soundbar came with a hardware mount and an optical-audio cable. So far, I'm very happy with the soundbar. The only thing I hate about it is that it provides no feedback when you increase/decrease volume or subwoofer level, and, there is no indication on the device itself as to what level you are currently on. Other than that, a good purchase.

It’s sounds as good as the other pricey sound bars in the market. Bluetooth connects to all other devices quickly. You won’t even need surround sound with it.

I enjoy the sound from this set up. It's a good product for the price, i'd enjoy a little more bass from the Subwoofer, but overall, I truly enjoy my purchase.

I got this soundbar on black friday for $129, thought it was a great deal. The sound from this soundbar is so much better than from the TV speakers. I highly recommend!

I got this on sale for around $100 and it has amazing sound. The bass is really good for such a little speaker. The over all sound quality is fantastic!
