I got this on sale for around $100 and it has amazing sound. The bass is really good for such a little speaker. The over all sound quality is fantastic!

I looked at several sound bars in this price range and found this one to have the best sound quality. There is not an HDMI port but I have had no problems with it. The sound is great. The sub woofer performs well and there are no problems with the bluetooth pairing between the bar and the speaker. I thought the sound was substantially better than a lower level Sony sound bar that was quite a bit more expensive. It ended up being $129 so at that price I doubt I would find anything better. I'm definitely satisfied with the purchase. It's easy to set up and is a substantial improvement over TV speakers.

For the price the sound bar is great . It sounds great - I have another Samsung soundbar which is more expensive and doesn’t sound half as good as this one -

I have owned this unit since August of 2018 (It's June 2020 at the time of this writing). It took me this long to write the review because I have had an intermittent issue with the product that has never fully been resolved. It is hard to recreate on demand so haven't been able to demonstrate it for the extended warranty I have on the device. USE-CASE: I put it on the main Samsung UHD tv in my family room. It is used for everything from daily news and documentaries, streaming movies and series to watching musical performances. So, this sound bar and subwoofer are used for a range of dialog based sound, background music and sounds, singing with instruments as well as classical/ R&B/ Rock/ etc. music. I am not a gamer so have no experience with that use-case but I would imagine my action movies to have similar sound requirements (explosions, weapons, spoken words, etc.). I have played with the VOICE, CINEMA and STANDARD options on the remote when the intermittent successes and failures. I also have used the woofer Level +/- with intermittent success and failure. Here's the challenge... occasionally the subwoofer gets distorted badly for louder background noise (non-music sounds and music) such as combat scenes in movies/ streamed series where there are also closer spoken parts. So if it's distant explosions and or music in the background the distortion makes it hard to hear the spoken content. I've had to turn off the sound system and restart it which only occasionally helps resolve the issue. Sometimes it works and I can't get it to error again. Sometimes I cycle through the sound setting options as well as the woofer level +/- to address the issue. BOTTOM LINE: It does not always resolve and I have to turn off the sound system and use volume via the TV which irks me greatly. It's not often but often enough that it has delayed this review. Why didn't I return it? Well... it didn't happen right away and it only started happening after the return/ exchange window. Since I couldn't reliably reproduce the issue, I couldn't get the warranty/ replacement to kick in. I couldn't find others online with this issue so I figured it was a "lemon issue" with mine rather than a mainstream problem with this LG 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with Wireless Subwoofer and Digital Amplifier. NOW when it works well, which is most of the time, it has amazing range and especially at this price point. It is even better sound than my friend's NEWER and more advanced SAMSUNG which came in at 3x the price (His words not mine). My point? I recommend this unit but pay attention for the issue I describe and exchange it immediately if you have it since it's hard to get it addressed under warranty.

Easy to set up and the sub even sounds great. It pairs with you TV remote all by itself. The only con I have is that it only has Optical, Aux, and Bluetooth (no ARC)

Originally had the Insignia sound bar and woofer. Upgraded to this unit as it was on sale for $129.99 black friday and it sounds amazing! Would absolutely buy again!

I absolutely love this purchase. From watching movies to nfl games cant describe the sound. The price was even better. That is what convinced me to make the purchase

It sounds great! We had a different brand before and the Bluetooth connection wasn't that great. The connection on this LG model works great though. No complaints!

We bought this for a large room that utilizes a projector. The sound is great- more than we would ever need. Very pleased with the quality and price point.

Great sound and music for the price. I liked it so much the first time around I went back and got two more. Only limitation is that it connects via optical or mini plug jack only (oh, and bluetooth). Our main TV isn't equipped with an optical connection I found myself using the mini plug jack instead. Sound not quite a good through this connection. The first TV had an optical connection. Also, with the optical connection the TV and soundbar synced up and I could use the TV remote to adjust volume levels, and the soundbars turns on automatically when the TV is turned on.

The bar is great but the amount of bass the sub has is pretty awesome. It gets to a point where you wish the over system was louder because once you reach the highest level, you love and want more.

I bought this sound bar for mother’s day for $130. Great purchase with no regrets. The sub adds a punch of bass which is nice. Overall a great product.

At $149.99 this sound bar can't be beat. It sounds good for movies, not powerful, but decent lows. Vocals are really clear in the vocal sound setting. It really comes alive with music, especially with a Classical Orchestra. It was also very easy to setup. It works with the Samsung tv remote and the DIRECTV remote. Auto turn on and off. Negatives would be only three sound settings to chose from, could use more bass and you can't connect Bluetooth headphones to it for night listening. No HDMI input. I'm using this in a bedroom, so it works well for mid sized rooms.

We are retired and was worried about the hook up. This was very easy for a 60 year old to do. I would recommend this product. LG is a very good sound bar system.

I bought one of these for my parents who complained that their new LCD TV volume wasn't loud enough. I didn't expect much for the price, but when I hooked it up to their TV and did a side by side comparison, I was blown away! The volume was louder, the sound brighter, the dialogue crisper, and there is a surprising amount of bass from the subwoofer! Their living room is quite large and the sound was plenty to fill the space. In fact, it was so good (especially for the price I paid), I went and bought another one for my own house. To top it all off...installation was a snap.

We got this soundbar and woofer for Christmas. The sound is great. Nice bass and overall sound. So much better than the tv audio. The price was excellent!

I purchased this sound bar as an enhancement to my LG OLED TV. It has great sound quality and was easy to hook up. So far, I am very pleased with this product.

The soundbar has great sound. I just wish there was an LCD display to see what sound volume and settings I have selected on the soundbar itself or on the remote.

This is a really decent soundbar for the price. Unquestionably will this piece of equipment drastically improve your sound quality if you are upgrading from your TV sound. Also, very easy setup.

Great sound so far. Haven’t been able to to it to full use due to living in an apartment. Easy set up. Love that it can be mounted on the wall with ease!
