It is a vast improvement over the TV speakers on my Roku P6. I typically will wear headphones to play ps4 games as the audio in the headphones is so much better.

Overpowering
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am not sure if it was a flaw in the sound system or just the fact that the sound from the tv it was hooked to had sufficient speakers - but the booming low sounds in action scenes were very loud and overpowering, while normal speech was fine. We returned this item.

So, I needed to purchase a sound bar. This was the least expensive of the options. It has a bit of an echo sound to it but overall it is ok.
