Posted .We hate to see you are unhappy with your soundbar. This system has a number of pre-set surround sound settings. You can select a desired sound mode by using each sound mode button. The ASC button analyzes the property of input sound and provides the sound optimized for the content in real time. Bass blast reinforces the bass and makes it sound more powerful. Got in contact with LG - poor customer service - sent it back to get fixed. Got sound bar back from LG and another problem surfaced - speaker turned OFF by itself when sound level increased instantly (e.g. quiet scene follow by gunshot ). When trying to return the 1 year warranty had expired and fixing would cost $160 - price of a new sound bar.

If it had "tuneful bass"....it would be a good product....but as it is....not satisfactory...not worth the money in my opinion. Listen carefully in the store to see what you think.

It's with Geek Squad for service now... It is totally unacceptable and very frustrating that a product troubles within 3 months... I am not 100% comfortable with this product and starting to doubt what will happen after 1 year manufacturer warranty...

The green light on the subwoofer blinks when the sound goes out. Optical cable is plugged in securely and I have even paired subwoofer using the button on the back to make sure connection is secure. I'm out of luck on being able to return since my return period is up.
