Worked well for 4 months, then stopped with no power.

Bought 2/6. Returned 3/6. Best Buy never installed.

First off, the soundbar has great sound and fills the room quite well. The design is pretty sleek and the wireless sub-woofer is easily hidden. And, for the $129 sale price this is a steal in my opinion. My only two criticisms are as follows: 1. There is no volume level indicator to let you know what level you are at sound wise which makes calibrating with your TV sound system a little tricky. 2. The power cord is hardwired into the sound bar (i.e. it is not detachable.) This, in and of itself, is not a big deal unless you're mounting this to your TV mount and then to the wall (then, a pain in the rear.) If you're mounting this to the wall by itself or sitting it on an entertainment center then this is an absolute non-issue. I have not noticed any delay in the wireless sub-woofer. I assume the woofer is paired via blue tooth so be mindful of your placement because you will have issue if you place it beyond 25-30'. Another reviewer commented on the fact that this bar has no mesh screen over the front as a problem for him. I have the opposite opinion, I feel the design without the mesh screen makes it a little more modern and cool looking. And, if the bar is mounted on the wall or TV then the chances of a kid poking the cones in are probably pretty slim. Also, the wireless sub-woofer pairs auto-magically so there is no setup there (encase anyone was wondering.)

Extremely easy setup, just plug in coaxial cable and connect Bluetooth. The woofer connects automatically and the sound is great for 150 bucks. I wasn't looking for massive speakers but this is enough sound for a good experience. The Bluetooth is great for streaming music.

Bought this on sale and couldnt be happier w/ it for $126. Its 10x better than my old Vizio sound bar and bass doesnt distort when you turn it up. Only thing is you are limited to 3 settings, Standard, Voice and Cinema when it comes to adjusting the tones but the bass is manually adjustable. Strong 4 star purchase

This thing really puts out some incredible sound! I was pleasantly surprised at how much bass this thing can produce. Setup was very easy and i love that the subwoofer wirelessly connects. Bluetooth has a really good range also. Highly recommend!

Great piece of gear. Easy installation with the included bracket to the wall - it's light enough that it can simply go into the dry wall without anchors or going into the stud, which is great. Sound quality is superb! Had a house party and had it all the way up with about 60 people - no distortion or problems. Bluetooth connectivity is perfect, no problems there. I find that it's easier to play things through my apple tv and then through the tv screen so I can just use airplay. Great deal at 129.99!

I'll start off by saying I'm not a huge sound guy. But I know good sound when I hear it. This sound bar delivers on everything I was looking for. It fills our whole house with sound if we want it to. The bass is great and can be adjusted to our needs at the time. I also think it looks great with our tv. I listened to about 5 different sound bars at best buy and this one sounded the best by far, and it was the cheapest of the 5 because it was on sale! I am very happy with my purchase and would very much recommend it.

Got this sound bar for $129 compared to it's retail value of $279; if it wasn't on sale, I would not have purchased it. I've had the bar for about 30 days now. Sound quality is decent for the living room in my apartment, so not sure how it would fair in a single family home. I use the cinema preference; bass is pretty true. Set up was easy! My only knock is that the bar does not display the volume or subwoofer levels. It would be better if the bar actually displayed the level of volume/subwoofer when you go to increase or decrease, otherwise I would have given it a 5* rating based on performance and it's sale price.

First of all this is my first soundbar ever. and I am super happy I picked this one up. it took me less than 20 mins to unpack and plug all in. no pain or hassle, literally plugged it in, subwoofer magically and wirelessly connected to the bar and without any hiccups played music from my phone via Bluetooth. for the retail price this thing is worth it, and I got it on sale so I consider this a steal. 5/5 happy with this product. sound quality is great, ease of use is great. you can use your TV remote to control the basic functions like volume up/down and mute which means no receiver or any extra equipment to deal with. literally just TV and speakers and no fumbling with multiple remotes. it also turns on and off on it's own when it detects a connected device. the only thing I might criticize about it is that mine didn't come with a manual or setup guide that explains the buttons on the remote (because there are some functions that aren't really self explanatory), but you can easily find the digital manual online which I did to figure out some things. but even then it didnt hinder it from working, just sort of kept me in the dark about the full potential. TLDR: just get it. trust me, it works flawlessly.

For the price, even more so for open box price I paid for this soundbar, have a hardtime believing there is a better sounding one with sub. Easy to install/connect, bluetooth connectivity a plus, and with sub this soundbar thumps!! Have it hooked up to master bedroom 50" inch LG Smartv and use it a lot to stream music from phone and Echo dot content with Alexa from Amazon. 2 thumbs up from me, great job LG!!

Our Samsung Smart TV came with just so-so sound (speakers in the back); we finally added this excellent LG sound bar -- and now it's like home theater!! At Best Buy I demo'd a bunch of sound bars and, hands down, this inexpensive LG bar had the brightest, richest, clearest sound! It's a GREAT buy, just wish we'd done it sooner. It's transformed our high-ceilinged living room into a screening room!

My hearing is not great and this unit was awful with voices. Background sounds were great, but I really wanted to hear the dialog. ;) Found out that I would need a 3.1 unit for that so bought a Samsung and I can hear again. lol

I own a Samsung soundbar that is about two years old. I just moved into a new home and decided to buy a new sound bar for my master bedroom. I bought this LG so that I could link it to my LG smart TV and control the volume. I was not expecting much for $150......Wow was I wrong! This is a great soundbar for the money!

First of I will tell you this is a great sounding soundbar. Specially for the price. I picked it up on sale plus I was able to use reward certs I had. Awesome! Setting this soundbar was easy. Just plug in the included optical cable to your TV and you are set. The wireless subwoofer paired on its own. Easy! I watched couple of movies and the volume level really got up there without any kind of distortion. I also had my PS4 hooked up playing Horizon Zero Dawn and the sound was amazing. It really gives the game a much better experience. It also gives you the option to connect your phone, tablet..etc via bluetooth. The sound from the music will also sound good out of these speakers. My only gripe is the lack of simple features. There is a very minimal display. You dont know the volume level or the Bass volume level either. You can adjust the Bass with the remote but you just cant see how high you have it set. And there is no way to adjust mids or high levels either. IN other words no EQ built in. Also you only get 3 listening mode options..Standard, Cinema and Voice. That's it. And the only way to set these is by selecting them in the included remote. But for the price I am able to get past these minor annoyances. Anyone looking for a great speaker at a great price should check this one out.

I paid $90 for an open box and I couldn't be happier. I replaced a low end 5.1 system on my family room TV with this soundbar and it puts the old system to shame. It doubles as a bluetooth speaker for streaming audio from my phone or laptop. I have heard better sound systems, but it is hard to beat for the price.

This soundbar is great and don't even look for other soundbars of any brand. You can't compare this with Bose systems and you can't beat the price. Sub-woofer is awesome and it has variable modes. Set up hardly takes 2-5 minutes. Connected to my Samsung 50 UHD Tv within seconds.

Bought this after reading reviews and have to say I'm quite satisfied. It's super easy to set up whether you use the 3.5mm to RCA cables, the digital audio cable or want to play music through your smart phone via Bluetooth connection. It gets very loud and the quality did NOT diminish when played at loud volume. The only con is that it's hard to tell "how loud" the bar is set to when turning it on as there's no indicator, when I connected it to my blue tooth it was insanely loud! My sharp aqous remote also controls the soundbar which I guess is a good thing(?) definitely worth $129 although I only paid $90 for the "open box" which arrived in EXCELENT condition.

This is my 3rd attempt at using a soundbar. My first was an inexpensive but supposedly good 2.0 that was just a miserable failure. The sound out of the TV was better that thing. My 2nd attempt was a Vizio and it was a difficult install. The wireless connection to the Subwoofer was intermittent and my Logitech Home Control system didn't get along with it. This LG SH3K is finally a sound bar that I can appreciate and recommend. I have a 5.1 systems in my den with Klipsch speakers and Marantz NR1608. It's not an audiophile's dream system but it's very enjoyable. This LG sound bar, though it's only 2.1, has turned my bedroom into a very nice media center. It's far superior to the audio out of my LG television. Glad I caught this soundbar on sale. This sound bar was VERY EASY to install as well. Not the nightmare I had with the other two I tried.
