I purchased this soundbar to accompany an older 40" LCD television hooked up in a basement workout area. Installation took about 5 minutes, and the sound quality using the optical hookup is really, really good. This system produces high quality sound at a high volume, filling the room without sounding tinny or unbalanced. The subwoofer is also very good and supplements the soundbar nicely. I did not expect this from a system that was so inexpensive. I am very picky about sound quality and this thing did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Bought this on cyber Monday, Very easy set up maybe 10 minutes at the most, majority of that time was unpacking the product. Great sound quality for the price you cant go wrong. Subwoofer synced to the sound bar effortlessly. Works great with my new 4k 65 in LG T.V. And i can control the volume with my cable remote plus plus

These speakers offer pretty good value for the money. Would definitely recommend if you can get them on a deal.

I have a Sony Smart TV and would have to turn the sound to maximum to get a loud volume.This soundbar and subwoofer was perfect for what I needed in my family room. The sound quality is perfect and the volume doesn't even need to be turned all the way up to be loud. My teenager hooked up in only minutes.

This purchase was merely an experiment to find out what the soundbar hubbub is about, but I'm calling it a win. Quick, reliable link via optical. Unit auto-powers on/off consistently. Bluetooth is typical, good moments and bad. Exposed L/R channel drivers give an unapologetically technical appearance. Sound quality is a massive improvement over TV speakers. The sub is surprisingly assertive with only a 6-ish inch driver, but don't expect to feel the bass in your spinal fluid. In fact the sub overpowers the L/R drivers in the bar. I leave the unit in voice mode, and it fills a 30X50 space just fine. Unfortunately, my DirectTV Genie does not have the SH3K in its code set menu and does not permit typing in a numeric code set identifier <shrug>. Overall, well worth the $150 I paid (I see it's cheaper now). If were inclined to spend more, I would have picked Polk or Denon at the $500 range.

We were looking for a good soundbar for our flat screen in the bedroom. Something to help the flatscreen speakers. This LG was on sale for 40% off. Super easy install. Comes with an optical cable and wall mount. Love the bluetooth subwoofer! Sounds really good in the bedroom. Able to lower the volume enough to not disturb your spouse, while leaving the voice clear and audible.

Bought an LG 50" TV but disappointed in the sound. Picked up this sound bar and it is impressive. Easy hook up but lousy directions as to the meaning of the buttons on the remote as I was trying to pair with our Directv remote. An email to LG brought a prompt response which has apparently solved this issue. Kudos to LG for this. Love this product.

I bought Vizio SB3821-C6 few months ago. It was refurbished unit. But It was very hard in that unit to find out if it was on or not. I returned that item in 2 days of using it. The LG's soundbar I bought also in open box. Everything works perfect in the soundbar and sub-woofer. The surround sound system is amazing.

Pretty solid, works well. Great sound. Would recommend.
