I bought this product and the sound began to cut out the moment I installed it. I contacted the LG manufacturer and even asked for advice from the geek squad at the store---no one could figure out the problem. It got so bad that I returned it and got the same model---I thought I purchased a defective product. Once I hooked the product up the SAME thing happened again---the sound would just cut off then come back on. I am returning this product tomorrow and exchanging it for a different brand

I got this expecting it to help me hear dialog more and still have great overal sound - it sounds no better than some off brand 2.1 desktop speakers bought for $40, which I plug into the 3.5mm jack. I even bought it on sale for $120 - taking it back.

Sound quality is really nice and i like this product. I am using this in my medium size hall. It really gives good quality. I recommend this product.

I bought this soundbar as an open box because of the reviews, now 6 months later I can't use it because the sound started cutting in and out, I tried a better optical cable than the one included and also switched the connection from the tv to the cable box with no change, don't waste your time or money.

I am happy with this purchase that home theater sound is excellent system.

I was very impressed. The sound was great. Until a few months past. Now the woofer is a bust. If you turn it up the woofer vibrates something terrible. I got a few months out of it. Now I have to purchase a real one. LG I knew it was to good to be true. Stuck with a vibrator!!

I bought this system and a month later it started popping. Sometimes it sounds like a gunshot. I even bought an upgraded optical cable for it to see if it would fix it and it didn't. My poor dog is scared of it.

Minimal improvement to the TV sound. Sub woofer is a waste for any voice clarity. Shop around or try this and return if you agree.

I bought the 2.1 LG Soundbar "Open Box" with the Best Buy statement "Like NEW" undamaged...all parts included...etc. When I received it it DID look like new but the "included" Optic Cable was missing. Had to drive 30 minutes, WAIT almost an hour in "customer Service" line to get the missing Optic Cable....and drive home. Guess What???....It did not work....the unit lights up with power on but doesn't make a peep. I checked, rechecked and set everything stated, checked again...nothing. Let's drive to BB again, customer service again etc..........No more "open boxes" for me. I do feel that BB should have CHECKED this unit out before putting it out for sale again. Shame on you BB.

Bought this to match up with the LG TV. audio doesn't match with voice on tv. Soundbar speakers are also blown.. crackle crackle crackle. I don't even run the bass that loud. Plus the remote has separate volume for subwoofer. I've owned this for less than a month.
